AZ Patio Firepit Recycled Glass, 20 lb, Ocean Blue

Our fire pit came with brown lava rocks. I looked on different sites for something to put in there. It was a toss up between these and the round ones. I opted to get these because of the price, style, colord, and amount - weight. These are not uniformed sized. There are a variety sizes. It is pleasing to the eye. I would buy again if needed. Great buy!

The media could not be loaded.  I bought two boxes of this fire glass. I got it packaged in sealed bags, boxes into separate boxes per 10 pounds of glass. I had planned to wash the glass first as other reviewers had done, but we opened it, and my husband started putting it into the fire pit before I could tell him I wanted to rinse it all first. He was using gloves, but I was bare handed moving the pieces around and they were not sharp. There were very few tiny pieces. He did turn the bag over and we got a bit of shards and sand like pieces, but we got the vacuum and out dust adapter and we were able to clean out those pieces. I found one clear piece in the bag. The second bag we picked it all out by hand to avoid getting any of the tiny pieces. It was really a minuscule amount, I just didn’t want it in there because we get pretty windy times here. Once it was in, the 20 pounds was a perfect amount for the fire pit. I definitely recommend that amount for the basic size most everywhere sells. It looks really pretty. We have it in our in door fireplace and new how great it can look. None of the pieces got any lampblack on them after the first use nor did any react from the heat. I had it on high for over 2 hours tonight. This is large piece quality glass. I am impressed. I kind of wish now I had gotten the pacific color blend because I think that would have been really pretty, but I was a little concerned over some of the reviews. Well, I shouldn’t have been, this glass is just as quality as the kind we have for our indoor fireplace and we paid a great deal more for that.

We have one of those portable fire bowl tings on out deck. It came with lava rock which I hated. I replaced it with a reflective blue fire glass that was ok but kinda boring. I saw this glass in my daughters fire bowl and loved it. I replaced my old glass with this and couldn't be happier. It is large and chunky and looks so much better than the old glass I had. I did give it a good rinse as there was some dust with it.

The glass I received is a very deep burgundy color and the pieces are pretty big.

We decided to spray paint an old outdoor propane fire pit and wanted to add color that matched outdoor cushions. It looks amazing when lit up and made the color pop look like a brand new fire pit

I love the color variation. Glass does not burn. I rinsed them off in a vinegar and water mixture to rid of the dust and they were very shiny afterwards. I only used one bag for my pit.

These are super awesome to throw into the propane fire tank. The blue is stunning and bright. They heat very well.

I love this product!They make our fire pit glow and it changes the whole atmosphere!

Not used this product as of yet as I’m building a media wall with the fireplace as a centre piece

I really liked this glass. I purchased it to use in an art piece. However, the pieces are too big so I had to hammer them to make them smaller.

We replaced the lava rock in our fire pit with the Bahama blend glass and it is beautiful. So pretty when the fire is off and even better when lit. The flames seemed to burn higher through the glass than through the rock .The dark blue seems to turn darker when the flame is lit but returns to original colour when it cooled. Very happy with this purchase.
