My cats love it but won’t scratch it
The media could not be loaded. We have several cats and foster cats. They all seem to be attracted to this cat scratcher for its smell, to hangout on it, and to play under or on it. For some reason, mine all still want to scratch my couch! I don’t know if maybe I need to order more of these to have available along our sectional but the will even scratch my couch RIGHT next to this thing. I’m super frustrated because they are attracted to the smell and like to rub on this scratcher, but in it, and sleep on it but they just won’t scratch on it.We might try spraying with cat nip spray to see if that will get them to choose this over my couch!I’m giving 5 stars because I appreciated the simplicity of putting this together, the quality is great, the multiple options of positioning to use standing up “L” shape or laying down like a ramp, appreciate the scratch material isn’t cardboard mess stuff, and I really like the look of this in my living room- it’s not an eye sore. Hopefully my cats will learn to change their scratching habits over to this in time

Still going strong after 3 months
My cat really likes this scratcher. He tends to use it also when he just wants a good stretch! He likes to scratch at our dining room chairs cause they're tall so this has been a good alterative for him. The scratching parts are mats that are attached to the wood by velcro. I would have given this 5 stars if there were replacement mats for sale. The assembly was simple and I had it put together in about 25 minutes. It is pretty lightweight so sometimes during a good scratch session it will move a bit. It did some with a toy but my cat was not too interested in that.

This cat scratcher is absolutely AMAZING!
This Cat Scratcher is a TOTAL WIN! Seriously, my cat is obsessed with it, and my furniture is finally safe from her claws. The sisal material is super durable, and the texture is just perfect—it keeps my cat happy and scratching away without hurting her paws. Plus, it came with catnip, and let me tell you, my cat went wild for it! The design is also super sleek. Honestly, I can’t recommend this enough to all my fellow cat parents out there. It’s a total game-changer!

Not for large cats.
I've got a large cat (+20lbs). She is not fat, just larger and athletic. She tried to like this scratch post but it's quite to small for her. Actually, she's about the same size. I do not feel that this is meant for larger cats. It is of good quality and great design. I will be giving it to Mom for her smaller cats. Recommend for larger cats? No. For smaller cats? Absolutely.

Two in one benefit
Cat scratcher works great, easy to assemble. Surprise benefit is the sturdy box it's shipped in. I cut slips in the top and inserted a toy, so it's today's "favorite" game

Disappointing purchase due to lack of information on assembly
It comes with a screwdriver but the holes don't have ridges to screw anything in-- I have to use a drill to put this scratcher together which was not at all advertised and means I have to go bother my dad who lives an hour away for his tools or buy one myself. I was very excited by how easy assembly was according to the reviews but this ended up being the most inconvenient purchase I've ever made for my cats. It's been so long since I've bought this and yet it sits in the box still un-assembled because of this pain point.

Holes didn't line up
Wouldn't recommend. One of the dowels, a crosspiece, could not be secured because the holes didn't line up. I had to drill an extra hole through the wood, and it still is t secure. There is not a hard surface behind scratching cloth, it is stretched between the top and bottom dowel, so the cats don't seem to trust it since it moves around. They are not using it. I have five cats to test it on… None of them are using it. All of them prefer the posts wrapped in sisal rope that have heavy bases.
