Won’t stick to window and instructions are very unclear

Went on fairly easy but be careful! I put this on a East facing round top window a few weeks back. Checked it this morning and the glass was so hot, you could barely touch it! I immediately pulled the tint off the window and found the glass was now cracked!

Have used these types of privacy films in the past, and helped my son with his car windshields. I truly believe that with this task and most others, the key is preparation. Our target is second story windows in our open family room. We don’t want window coverings, we still want light to filter through while reducing strong summer sun and heat. The challenge is getting up fifteen feet when your ladder takes you to thirteen feet. Regardless of how we get to the target test window, if sure surely will do another adjacent to it. Recommended.

Put this on our bedroom window. In less than a month caused window to crack and we haven’t had any hot weather.
