... and other cameras that use that same hot shoe configuration. The connection with the mics is fast once you turn on the receiver. No drop off or interference. A much better solution than using the 3.5mm cable. The adapter mounts fast and easy and is unobtrusive. I saw a couple reviews online that said it would be better if the adapter could be turned so you could see it from the front of the camera (it can't), but I have found that to be no issue; if videoing from the front of the camera, you would have the display screen rotated so you can see it from the front, and you get the "green lines" on the screen so you can see what the mics are doing. This is a smart accessory for those who want to use two DJI Mic2 mics with their camera.

Disappointing.

I really like this option because it allows for the removal of the audio cable from the DJI Mic 2 Receiver and the Sony camera. But in practice, I realized that there is not enough room to use it when using my current NATO rail and handle. There isn't enough room to include both. So even with this adapter, I may find myself using the cable and hosting the DJI Mic 2 Receiver on my cage or handle. But the part is cheap enough that it's nice to know I have the option if I want to shoot with a minimal cable-less setup.

I pretty much bought this because if you want to use a cage on your Sony camera and use the DJI Mic 2, this adapter is probably the best option. You can buy a 3d printed one for far less, but at least this adapter eliminates the cable. The biggest sacrifice to me was the fact that you can't mount the Mic 2 with the screen on the lens side. Sometimes I want to see the levels from the front of the camera and can no longer do that with this adapter. Also, with this adapter attached, it doesn't auto shut on and off with the camera. Lastly, with this attached, you can not change the levels in the camera anymore. So, because there is so many trade offs, I don't see it as a 5 star product.I'll still use it so I can use my cage and the fact I don't need the cable, but it hurts me knowing that I'm leaving functionality on the table when I have this on my camera.

The wire that connects the mic port to the camera was such a hassle to keep up with(it kept getting lost or misplaced), so this was worth the investment. Not having to deal with a cable is so nice, and it fits easily in my mic pouch so it doesn’t get lost.
