This connector does the job. I've only used it for charging, and it doesn't change the charging time, so it's not losing any voltage. Unlike other products I've looked at, it doesn't matter which way you plug in the USB C cables on either end, it works great. There's also a led on both sides of the metal case so you know you have power. I'd buy this again.

Works as expected except for one minor detail - the socket side of every piece (both the up and down angles) face the same way. This normally doesn't matter if you connecting a normal USB plug into it but if you need to chain multiple angle adapters this may not work.For example if you connect two up angle adapters you should get a 180 degree (or U) adapter but instead you get an S shape instead. Sure in this specific use case you pair an up with a down and get the same effect...but suppose (like in my case) you have some other USB device that is already an "up" angle and I wanted use this to add an additional 90 degrees - I can't since the socket is flipped backwards. Effectively the up adapters will invert any left/right or up/down adapters plugged into them.Other brands of up angle adapters don't have this issue which I have to go buy now. These will be useful elsewhere just be aware of this odd quirk if your use case expects specific orientations.(Another way to think of this is that you should be able to make a full circle using 4x up _or_ 4x down angles only but you can't with these. Too bad USB-C's invertible design came so late in the USB lifetime as it did - flipping USB plugs around is the bane of all USB (non-C) users...)

These things are sensitive to how you arrange them. At first I thought they didn't work, but the hint is to turn it so that the Eluteng side faces you. Power should flow into the left side and out the right. If the light does not turn on, flip the cable on the input side (left) front to back. That will likely be enough, however if it doesn't experiment some before you give up.

I purchased these USB C couplers to include in my cable lit when I travel. Quite often I find I need a really long USB C cable if I want to keep my phone on the nightstand in my hotel room. I had carried some long USB C cables for this purpose, but would rather pack two shorter cables rather than one long one as I sometimes need to power an additional device such as a battery charger. These USB C couplers are just the answer to my need. I'm now able to pack shorter cables, so I can power more things if necessary and can still accommodate poorly placed outlets in my hotel room by having a longer cable.I did not check the power drop across these but I was not able to detect any noticeable heat coming from them when I used them. It is possible that I was not pulling enough current to notice. Power losses from additional connections is always something to consider. With that said, it is possible that there will be some additional time required to charge a rapid charge item, but I did not notice any additional time difference when charging my phone and laptop.

Good value for these adapters that make connectivity easier. They fit securely in the port, and function well.
