Harmonica Lessons from Beginner to Advanced: Original Harmonica Method of Learning to Play and Improvise + Video and Audio

Excellent book for beginners.

As a keyboard, brass and guitar player I suddenly, at 63, decided to try and learn how to play the harmonica. Bought a decent one from Amazon (Easttop blues) and this book caught by eye so, in for a penny, in for a pound, I took the plunge. The chap also has a YouTube channel with videos that relate to the book. I can actually hold a tune now and not just run around making a noise like a police car like I did when I was about 8 😂

Only just started but i like it and it makes me want to persist. But, the most important instruction he gave me was just to “ play around” with it, so making me think i’m still following his lessons if i pick it up when i’ve got a spare 5 minutes!

Clearly, to the author, Anton Davydov, there's no limit to the potential versatility of everybody to make their own music on the harmonica, the " harp. " He gives clear instructions on how to play a broad range of tunes, both those that are very well known and others you will improvise yourself. He describes in detail how to use the different techniques of playing to produce the distinctive sound of the harp

The print was that large andalright for blind people but a lot more could have been included if the print was smaller. The information was very brief and alright for beginner but no good for advertised for advanced. There are much better books around. This book has 62 pages but if it was printed at font 14 it would have only covered about 22 pages. Dont waste your money buying it.
