Staying Active.
If you are a person that likes to work out and create some resistance in your muscles. i recommend this product is good for walking, running, and wear it for activities. you feel lighter when you remove is also good for work on your body balance well thats how i feel after using it also adjust the amount of weight you want to carry. but also consult your Doctor or trainer for proper used. since the weight are very heavy so use caution when handling. i have different type on the past. and i find this one very comfortable to wear. I”ll give two thumbs up.

Comfortable, seems well made.
I was concerned about the design as I am a larger chested woman, but I am finding it very comfortable. I don't run so cannot speak for how it feels in that situation. I'm just wearing it walking around and doing chores. If building up to the max weight, I recommend starting with all the weights on the lower levels as my back did ache the second day and I realized that having the weights higher on my body was increasing the torque (lever arm x force) whenever I bent over. As my back strengthens, I should be able to start slowly adding the weights to the higher levels.I purchased the 30lb vest as another reviewer stated that she wished she had purchased the 30lb (rather than the 20lb). Of course the weights can be removed and never used if I don't ever work up to that weight, but it's great to have the option without having to buy another vest.

Best I've found but still room for improvement
I like the adjustable weight, it allows me to increase the weight at my pace rather than marrying a single weight and just dealing with the soreness. The vest is a little boxey and I don't care for the waist straps so I think there's room for improvement, I also don't like looking like I'm wearing a tactical vest while walking my dogs, I get some odd looks from the neighbors. Functionally this is where I think you should be at, and it's a very good value for the price. Considering non-adjustable vests are similarly priced I would gladly pay more money if upgraded with premium materials and a less boxey design could be figured out.

Best adjustable option
Love that the weight is so adjustable. My husband and I are able to share it this way. So many of the other options start at a particular weight and then you can adjust up a bit, but this was the only one we found where it could actually adjust from basically no weight up to 40lbs

Good quality
The vest looks great, has a very sturdy feel to it. Being able to remove weights as needed is also great so I can share this with my spouse. Would recommend for anyone looking for one of these!

Makes a brisk walk somewhat of a workout
My fiancé likes to take long walks together. We do a 4 mile loop but it never feels like much of a workout. Enter the ApexUp vest. I bought the 30 pound version. I like that I can start off at 20 pounds and work my way up to 30 pounds. We’ve done a couple 4 mile walks since receiving mine and what a difference! Finally, a 4 mile walk feels somewhat like a workout. It’s not like going for a run or a day of leg training at the gym, but it definitely makes a difference. The vest is very well-made. It’s easy to add or remove weights. It’s comfortable with plenty of padding. I am very happy I bought this

Comfortable weight vest!
This best has padded shoulders that are very comfortable- I had a serious injury years ago and there is scar tissue build up on my clavicle that gets easily irritated- the straps on this vest don’t bother me at all! The small weights are distributed evenly so you can easily customize (remove or add weights) based on your ability. Take some time to get the straps all adjusted before you head out in the fest- it’s much more comfortable if you have them adjusted and tucked in properly. Very nice quality for the price!

Solid weight bars easy to adjust
I chose this weighted vest because it was one of few that did not use iron sand pouches. The iron sand pouches in most weighted vests evidently give off toxic smelling fumes that make the vests unusable for many. Users also report the iron sand pouches are difficult to remove and tuck back in. This vest gets a 5 star rating for it's solid iron weights. I was able to easily remove them to adjust location and total weight! For that reason alone I would buy this vest again. For the weights. However, I may end up piling these weights into my old bicycling backpack. First, the waist belt on this vest was impossible to assemble. I'm still not sure I got it right. There is a vague instruction included with a dark photo of how the waist belt looks and no detailed explanation re: how to assemble it. There are miles of velcro on this waist strap included, had to fold it three times so I had this thick belt kind of makeshift belt riding just under my ribcage. The whole thing is a bit short, doesn't go down to my waist. I am 5' 6" and weigh 112 lbs. The nylon adjustable"waist" nylon band with plastic clasp, as reported by other reviewers, slides out of place in a minute. I will have to add some kind of tape or pin to keep it secured. My other concern is the narrow neck opening. I have a skinny neck and small sloping shoulders. After my first walk, with only a few weights, the vest cut into my neck/trapezius muscles. I don't know how this works on a man with a normal sized neck. The neck opening is kind of small digging in with weight close to the neck. So, I'm a little leary about what happens when I add more weight. The vest is well constructed, with quality canvas type fabric. I'm going to try to adjust and work with it. Still glad I purchased it.
