So...it works but the battery symbols are opposite. So for anyone who says it doesnt work maybe you should take out the batteries and put negative where it days positive should be

This is my third time purchasing this remote, my kids keep losing them so I am so excited it comes with the little holder. I don't like that I happen to get the yellow one because it stands out. I would have preferred the black. The remote didn't need to be programed, I added batteries and started working right away. Before installing the batteries the remote felt really light. Looks just like the picture.

This remote works better than the remote I received with my Insignia TV.2. I love how reasonable the price is (it takes 2 AAA batteries NOT included) and it even comes with a little cozy cover with cat ears and a strap so you're less likely to lose it. Which is awesome because I'm prone to losing them. And fyi the strap is adjustable with a clamp and the clamp won't fall off.3.There's not much else to say. The OK and arrow buttons are sleek plastic as the side volume buttons ;And all the keys click nicely, no sticking or hollow feeling.4. Would come back for a third one if I need later for the unbeatable price and quality;

Didn’t work with my Insignia television. The battery compartment was a disaster and had the springs going the wrong way. I tried to reach out to their customer service with no response. Hopefully this review will get their attention.

I would give a zero star if Amazon has that options. The remote didn't work upon arrival. The battery terminal were on wrong side. Put in batteries, didn't work. Turn the terminal around, still didn't work. JUNK JUNK JUNK JUNK.

updated on May 8, 2019: after 3.5 months of nominal use, the volume buttons stopped working today. Sad, because otherwise the remote was functional and it is a pity that these specific buttons failed.Original review: The original remote for my Insignia 55" Roku TV had failed, so I ordered this remote. It worked right out of the box. I do like the holder that came with this box, and also the fact that this remote has more stiff / "tactile" feel for the buttons. Hopefully it survives the 3 years that the original remote had served us for!

Bought this after our pup chewed up our Roku remote. Was pleasantly surprised to find a 3rd party replacement that looks and feels just like the original, and also comes with a handy cradle to attach to the back of the TV. No chance this one gets eaten! Great value and great durability. Highly recommend.

I bought a new Tv from Best Buy and 15 minutes after we used the remote it stopped working, emailed insignia and no response and the best that the store could do is a exchange but no one wants to take a 55” tv off the wall after they just mounted it just for a remote so i purchased this and hoped for the best. It Started working the second we put the battery in and pressed the on button. Great replacement remote
