Very efficient , fast cooling air conditioning , almost silent , can easily hold a conversation standing right next to it , it is replacing an older mini split system I had and runs primarily off solar power I have at my house , it cools better and uses less power than the older mini split , the drip pan is the best I’ve ever seen on any of these through windows designs so a drip situation inside the house should never be an issue “ I tilted mine 4.5 degrees “

Best window-mounted AC unit I've ever seen. It's quiet, easy to use and very effective. Makes its auto-adjustments nicely. I'm using it in concert with a less-than-adequate, though good quality, heat pump HVAC system. I always prefer more capability, working less hard, and this combination does that very well. Never satisfied with Factory options, I built my own mounting systems and space fillers, and this is the quietest thing I've seen, in operation. Just hope it's long-lived.

Amazingly quiet and efficiently cools our place.. worth every penny, the 15k btu that runs on 120volts is great because we have the option of running it on a generator if our power ever went out.. my generator said it only draws 650-680 watts to run at full power so that is very impressive given the output of cold air it gives

Awful. Absolutely awful. The unit we received did not work properly. It did not cool the room, even though it is a small room. To make matters worse, the poorly designed shape of the AC's undercarriage, as well as the flimsy installation hardware, made it close to impossible to install in a standard window. Whirlpool clearly knows about these problems because the AC shipped with all kinds of workarounds and fixes that were (poorly) designed to compensate for the AC's defectively shaped undercarriage and hardware. The installation "design" requires you to leave all kinds of gaps in the window frame and plug them with white modeling clay. This is not standard for any other AC I have ever ordered. I will think long and hard about ever purchasing another Whirlpool product again.

The AC works great and it's amazing how quiet it is. My home is broken up, meaning a lot of rooms. Even with these walls, the AC reaches most rooms. It's big, and heavy, so make sure you have two people.

Cools off fast and very quiet.

We have it in a middle downstairs room and it keeps the entire downstairs cool! Easy to operate.

I received this product on time and immediately open the box to find it had either been dropped or smashed somehow. It is very dented up. I have only been running it for a few hours and it seems to work fine but it is very rough looking on the outside (As you can see in the pictures). I do not know if it was the shipping method or the warehouse where it came from that smashed it up, but I do advise that you open it up immediately to ensure that it is not damaged.
