Retro gaming reborn with modern brilliance. Play anywhere, relive every classic.
I am very happy with my choice of the RG40XX H Retro Handheld Game Console for my partner. It arrived promptly and undamaged, with minimal yet safe and hygienic packaging. The console feels solidly made and of excellent quality, with a bright 4.0-inch IPS screen that delivers clear visuals and protects the eyes during extended gaming sessions. The built-in 64GB TF card packed with 5488 classic games is an absolute delight, offering endless entertainment across various formats. The Linux system adds great flexibility to add emulators and more games. The 5G WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity work seamlessly, allowing online play and connection to wireless controllers or headsets.I especially love the option to connect the console to the TV, transforming it into a full gaming setup. The powerful 3200mAh battery provides long-lasting playtime, and fast USB-C charging is a real bonus. The overall build quality, including tempered glass protection, is impressive, making this a great value for money product.I can confidently say I am happy to recommend this genuine, high-standard product from a reputable seller. It truly brings joy and nostalgia with modern convenience.

Nostalgia in Your Pocket!
This little console is packed with retro goodness – thousands of games, smooth performance, and a screen that’s surprisingly crisp. I’ve been reliving my childhood one pixel at a time. My only complaint? I’ve lost hours of my life to Tetris again. Worth it.

Love it!
The media could not be loaded. This really surprised me. Even after reading the listing description I wasn’t expecting such a good little emulator and I’m really enjoying it!It’s a good size for both adults and children (video is my 7 year old) and the rainbow lighting looks cool. It feels a solid weight quality wise but isn’t so heavy it’s uncomfortable when playing it. Charging is via the included USBC and we’ve had a good number of hours out of each charge. Not quite the full 6hrs but we like to leave the lighting up fairly high and the rainbows on.There are literally thousands of games on here. A lot are very niche so unless you played the arcades or retro consoles you wouldn’t really know them but I found quite a few well recognised, bigger names on there. I favourited some of my old classics for my son to experience and really like that you can ring fence off some of the games into a favourite folder as one downside is that there is no search function. You do need to also take a minute to check the controls as well before starting a game as with this being an emulator it doesn’t always map to the expected buttons. With it covering so many console types though I’m not counting this as a low point because it would be extremely difficult to do this in an emulator with such a large number, but keep it affordable .You can link additional consoles to it for 2 players, airplay it up to a larger screen and connect it to WiFi and Bluetooth which is all interesting! We’re happy keeping it as handheld though so although a cool idea, not something we’ll use much. The Bluetooth is handy for headphones though. The only other thing to be aware of is that I couldn’t find anything to make profiles for child restrictions. So if your kid plays it they will have access to adult games on there (including GTA, resi evil etc) but you could maybe use the favourites folder for them?

Not configured properly
I had great hope for this game console, however I am under whelmed.Initial thoughts were good as the construction and feel of the console were good, it had weight, responsive buttons, ports and sockets reasonable screen, lights you name it.But when you come to use it, its a different experience. Yes the games are old and dated, but this is a retro console, the main issue though is that the games have not been configured to work with the console, so many of the games you can't start or play, because having pressed every available button/stick, no controls keys are configured to action the command require. Those games that you can play, take a lot of trial and error before you find the control buttons that make it work and even then, they are often not the most ideal, for example why would you use say the A button to fire, when there are side trigger buttons available. To me it looks as though they spent all their time and effort on the design of the console and then just dumped a load of games on it with no thought re. configuring the controls. In addition to the lack of control I also find that the console is temperamental when charging, it seems to stop part way and it looses its charge quickly or perhaps the power on button doesn't work properly.Maybe this is a faulty console? The box was not secured, so maybe it was a return? The only reason I am giving it 2 stars is for the build quality, I'm being generous.

Compact fun in your pocket
This little gadget really hits the nostalgia sweet spot. With a bright screen, snappy performance, and an impressive game library built right in, it’s a solid pick for retro gaming on the go. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi give it a modern twist, and TV output is a bonus for couch play. What stands out is how smooth it runs—menu to gameplay feels polished. My girlfriend actually ended up playing it more than me, so that says something. She loves the compact feel and how easy it is to dive into old-school games anytime. A lightweight companion for quick escapes into the classics.Great for travel or downtime, it delivers hours of fun without hogging space.

Good for old retro games
This handheld console is pretty good quality. It comes preloaded with tons of games and emulators, though unfortunately no NES or SNES emulators. I'm not sure how easy it would be to put my own games or emulators on here - that's been something I'll look into when I get the time and will update. Otherwise, good quality and features for the price of you just want to play old retro pixel games etc.
