Why did you pick this product vs others?:Love but a little noisy

My kitty Coco loves her new automatic litter box. I was not sure if she would be afraid of it at first. But she seemed to figure it out and go in without a problem. It's wonderful to come into my home and there is no smell of kitty box. It's easy to use however the app was a little tricky at first. However you can manually push the clean button it does not require internet as I first thought. But it is fun to have the app but not necessary. The instructions do not clearly share this information. Coco is 16 years old and weighs 14 lb and fits in there well to do her business. It's easy to change the bag that catches the waist. I change the waste bag once a week for one cat. It's also important to note not to overfill the kitty litter area or it does cause problems with the dumping process.

HUGE AMOUNT OF EFFORT TO CLEAN:I expected to have some reduced amount of cleaning cat litter. This item is very difficult to keep clean, to add litter and to replace the bags needed on this item. The litter bag needs to be replaced often, and if you don’t secure it properly the litter comes out every where. The smell of cat urine is horrific. In order to clean it I’ve had to take it outside, dismantle it and use a hose and scrub the inside. The bottom of the machine is some sort of flexible plastic but the poop sticks to it and attaches to it. To me, it is not worth the effort. I’d rather scoop kitty litter every morning than to deal with this. I’ve had it for 2+ months and I’m done. The cats took to it really well but I’m returning to other means ( scooping litter).

Good product, no more daily manual scooping . I have two cats and they had no issues adjusting to a new automatic box with me totally removing the olde two boxes. My male cat is also no longer urinating on things as he used to do that even after getting neutered . The automated box is great for extremely picky cats that demand a scooping every-time they go .I would say the only two downfalls are the instruction manual doesnt list all the setting that you can see in the app and does not provide a clear instruction on the settings and what different things mean or do for instance the full bum calibration. That is a setting that has a scale that moves up to the number 15 yet there’s nothing at all that explains what this is and what the numbers are . I feel it has something to do with alerting a full bin which mine is on auto but it will not alert me when the bag is full or over flowing it only alerts when it’s cleaning . I’ll have to contact the manufacturer or seller with questions .Also the litter box is smaller than it appears It is snug for a 9lb cat i was worried but my cat is squeezing in there it’s just small for how much you spend on it and compared to other boxes .The box is advertised to basically be scoop free or not have to change the litter /bag for up to 15-20 days . That’s not true at all lol you’ll need to change it for sure after 5-7 days especially with two cats . I don’t recommend doing an out of town trip and depending on this as it may over flow or stop collecting if it’s too full .

I previously had a standard litter tray but found I would dread coming home to the smell of cat faeces and urine. Especially if I brought a guest home. It will save you time and in terms of smell , I change mine every 3 or 4 days as a fussy person. There is no smell except after the cat has just done business. The litter box comes with the bags that the waste is emptied into. This brand also sells supplementary bags, which doesn't seem expensive.In terms of design and size , it offers more space for your cat. I have a long haired cat and less poo accidents on her fur thanks to more space.You can clean this with wipes or as you would a normal litter box.The app control is a fantastic bonus — I can adjust settings right from my phone, which is super convenient. Plus, the safety features give me peace of mind that my cat is safe when using it.

Bought as a gift for my mom's cat (<10lb). This is fantastic. Quiet, easy to use, easy to empty bag, and easy to clean-out. You can program the time delay after cat does her business.Basically, these are auto-scoopers. You still need to top off litter and change out litter, more or less on the same interval -- as usual, if you go too long on the litter, it stops clumping, so I would expect the auto-scooper to fail as well.Using with the AH Super Scoop with great results.Warning: don't overfill the litter. The machine will just dump dump excess litter into the bag, due to the roll/tilt process.

Not worth the trouble. Litter collects on the side and makes a heck of a mess when trying to empty.I ended up buying a Litter Robot and I swear it's the best investment I've made in years. Well worth the money. Yes, it's a hefty price but with three cats..........
