Perfect for an Odyssey
It must depend on your car type and how your vents are designed. I have a 2014 Honda Odyssey and i love this phone holder. I have a card case phone protector with a pop socket and i have to take my phone out of it, which is annoying, but it holds my phone in place and at a good angle. I bought a second one I take on trips when we rent a car and it is hit or miss if it'll work depending on the car type. It does work for a Dodge Carvan! (Which we always seem to end up with)

Good product BUT......
The holder seemed to hold the phone secure and seemed fine opening and closing as promised. But I had to return the item because it wanted to wobble back and forth on the vent. I personally think if they made it with two vent clamps to hold it secure then it would take care of that problem.

Does the job
Does what I need it to do-holds phone securely and easy to insert and remove phone. Feels a bit flimsy but seems to be holding up ok

Great for all phones. Cord doesn't get in the way. Doesn't grip the vent too well, glued mine.

It is a bit stiff but it is easy to use. Leave on rental car at business trip. I can not use it anymore.

Self- adjusting!
I've been wanting to try this type of cell phone holder because it can be removed and used in my other car. When I installed it, I was very surprised to find that when weight is placed on the bottom portion the side arms automatically squeeze to fit the phone! Very impressive feature!
