The umbrella is sturdy when used as a cane. A flat rubber bottom would be better than the rounded one though. It opens and closes easily.

Used this in Spain! It's a medical device and an umbrella! Had no problems boarding it on a plane. Very helpful on hills and up stairs.

I keep this with me on my scooter so I can get off and walk safely if necessary or can stay dry it it suddenly rains. I take my scooter to the grocery store, a half mile from my house and it is nice to avoid getting wet if a shower happens.

It has been grand on my trip through Ireland. A perfect walking stick (cane) and ready for use as sturdy large umbrella. Color blue is terrific.

Very nice, umbrella shines with quality. Comes with shoulder strapped holster. Unlike most umbrellas this one appears to have double liner. Easy open and close with solid locking engagement. Helpful adjustable height. Have it for less than a week, not yet tested so I can't comment on durability yet.Con: The canopy is a bit on the small side for a walking sized umbrella. There's plenty of room on the stick for at least another 2" to 3" inches wider canopy. However, with that said, there's at least one significant advantage for smaller surface umbrella: Subject to less wind torque which adds to overall longevity.Bottom line: I would buy it again.

I purchased this product for my father. The cane umbrella looked and felt sturdy when I tried it.
