Awesome Reliability and Simplicity
I have other Netgear devices and have enjoyed each one. I like the reliability of the product as well as the ease of manageability. The features what come with this rival some of the more expensive models. And Netgear has come up with several ways to manage their routers. App on a mobile device, standard web interface. I like the fact that Netgear seems to always keep in step with the ever changing world of IT, and seems to be a very innovative company. I believe that hooked up with a reliable internet service provider, this thing will out perform them all. Connectivity speeds are robust, and reliable, the Wifi is exactly what they say it is, fast and reliable with auto sensing between bands to give the user optimization of connectivity. Plug and play all the way, customizable all the way, and reliable all the way.

Works Best After Simple Configuration Adjustments (Better than RBK-763)
I bought this to replace an Orbi Mesh Router (RBR560) from about 2016.It took some parameter setting to get it work works as I wanted it. We have a 3 story (basement plus two-story) home. We also have 8 acres with other long-range antennas set up throughout the property.I set this as an Access Point (AP). At the same time, I bought the Ubiquiti Cloud Gateway Ultra (UCG-Ultra) so that is the actual router.I recommend setting the different Wi-Fi bands with different SSID names. I tried all one name and let the devices decide and that work far worse. Typically my phone, which is about the only device constantly moving, stays on the 2.4g network. I have 1G fiber so everything loads fine. If other more stationary devices (TV's, game consoles, etc.) see the other SSID signals better, I use them for those devices.Overall, I'm happy after I made the adjustments.BTW, before this puchase, I did try the newer Orbi (RBK-763) and I was veru disappointed. I returned it.

Blazing Fast, Ultra Reliable—The Upgrade I Needed!
I upgraded to the NETGEAR Nighthawk RS500 WiFi 7 router, and the difference is night and day. With a smart home full of streaming devices, security cameras, work laptops, and gaming consoles, our old router just couldn’t keep up. This one delivers lightning-fast speeds (up to 12Gbps!) and seriously stable performance—even with over 40 devices connected at once. The tri-band setup with WiFi 7 future-proofs my home network, and the coverage easily reaches all 3,000 square feet, including the garage and backyard. Setup took less than 10 minutes using the Nighthawk app, and the built-in security features give me peace of mind without having to pay for extra subscriptions. This router is powerful, sleek, and built to handle anything a modern household throws at it. If you’re tired of buffering, dropped connections, or spotty WiFi zones—this is the upgrade you deserve!

Difficult to Set Up Using the App
The Nighthawk App made it difficult to Set up. I gave up on using the app, and did the setup on the browser site. After I was able to get the router setup, everything was fine. Even the app worked, and it seems to have a lot of nice features, including security features. Router speeds are good and connection is stable. If you get past the setup, it's a worthwhile purchase.

Easiest setup ever
This Netgear router was truly the easiest one I have ever had to setup. I had a previous Netgear from a few years back and I had to call tech support to help he set it up because changing the password and adding it my network was a task. This time I only had to download the app plug the router and easy peasy it was on my network armour shield setup and no problem. The signal strength and strong and can be found any I go in my home. The coverage it fine and does not drop. The router was compatible with my network, I still called the ISP company to ensure they could see my router and it was no problem ever showed up with incident. I am so happy with my new router and change password was easy.

So far excellent!
Needed to update my wifi router after a TP Link router started malfunctioning, which to fair i had for several years. Bought a Flint 2 with good reviews and had to return. Even my ISP could not help. ……Ordered this Netgear Nighthawk and im thoroughly impressed. The set up was smooth and along with its excellent app it connected with no issues. All devices connected easily, no issues with my ISP. The Netgear app really is well done and provides all the info on the router. Great coverage, although my place is small. Im getting great speed and it looks good too…no visible alien antennas sticking out. Granted its early in my ownership and im not an advanced tech but this was a excellent purchase.

Nice unit. Difficult to set up.
This router wasn’t simple to set up at all. I finally used the QR code on the side of the unit and got it working. I changed the password to my previous one but still had to enter everything on each device. My iPhone 15 Pro was set up first, then iPad and two TVs with Spectrum Xumo Boxes. I couldn’t set up my HP 8600 printer because of a MAC issue that I’ll deal with later. Great coverage in my three level condo with download speed of 560 mbps and upload 23 mbps. The download varies throughout the day but usually over 300 mbps. Great unit at a great price.
