I purchased two of these fans last year for the two main bedrooms. They really are excellent. I wish I had bought five at the price they were a year ago, although still good value in these inflationary times. During the hot weather they are invaluable, quiet and reliable. I thoroughly recommend them and will be buying a few more very soon.

Was larger than expected and quite heavy so recommend having someone to help while mounting to ceiling.Make sure fixing plate is secure into joists too.One fitted, it’s quiet, powerful and well put together. Much better than the fan it replaced. Remote control is very useful and works from anywhere in the bedroom.Definitely recommended, just make sure wires you have some help when fitting.

Love how it works. Quiet. Remote is great. Cools 11ftx 11ft room easily. Only wish is that the base was not as long as 35cm. It looks massive. If it was half that size it would be perfect.

This is a very nice ceiling fan albeit the size takes a bit of getting used to for a bedroom, but can’t blame the manufacturer for that. The fan is really quiet especially on the first setting, after that it’s generally only wind noise. Relatively easy to install for competent DIYs, supplied instructions very clear and the preformed electrical connections make it installation easy. The fixings for the base plate need to be screwed into the roof beams to be able to support the more than 5kg weight of the unit. Minor niggles only: a bit mean not to include two light bulbs and the remote just looks a bit crude (in my opinion).

Listen, its a fan. Its a chunky monkey, heavy. Well made except, when I installed it and I have done a fair few, the described methodology will work but. Fixing to a ceiling and its wooden joists above use your own wood screws, self drilling type and flat washer it up to prevent the ceiling plate from buckling. The ones supplied will only screw in so far unless you use a pilot drill and then it could split the timber. Then when you hang the main fan unit on the hook provided in the ceiling fixing plate... BEWARE. The hook couldn't hold the fan unit up and it broke away allowing the fan to fall. It was by luck that I caught it before it fell and smashed up. Being an engineer I was able to refix the hook to the ceiling plate. Then its easy to plug it all together and install the remote control unit. Works well. Some say noisy but it's a fan moving air so no more than you'd expect. BE AWARE. This does not come with bulbs for the lighting unit, they are available from all good DIY stores.

Easy to install, low noise. Remote good. Got an adapter for large ES to SES bulbs as there are lots more options for SES bulbs. Arrived on time but I never have issues of delivery when buying from Amazon

I Bought two of these fans almost a year ago.I found them fairly easy to fit and have been pleased with one, that has been trouble free - not so the second.Just after Christmas I switched on the light, the light switched on, but so did the fan. The remote would not switch it off, I could change the speed but not turn it off. I tried the remote from the other unit with the same result.So, I have a light that I cannot use as I do not want the fan on in January!I contacted Westinghouse who told me that someone would contact me in three days.That was in December, nobody has contacted me yet.Very disappointing.I have used Westinghouse fans before and been very pleased with them, this is my first experience of their customer care - I am NOT very pleased with that.

Headline says it all really, we have 5 fans in our house and this is by far the best. I was initially worried because of the relatively short blades but the movement of air is more than satisfactory even on the lowest setting. IMHO, the design looks much nicer without the thin shaft from the ceiling rose. I was so pleased with it I bought a second, Excellent price too for this quality.

Esteticamente è molto bello,la funzione luce è Buona mentre la funzione ventilazione è ottima in quanto molto efficace e silenziosa!.Consigliato

Ja, Sie haben richtig gelesen ... ich verwende das Ding als "STAND"-Ventilator!Bestellung und Lieferung wie gewohnt problemfrei und schnell. Der Zusammenbau ... simpel, aber durch eine ziemlich unglückliche Platzierung der Elektrik/Fernbedieneinheit im/am Propeller ... ein eher ärgerliches Erlebnis.Es sollten besser 2 Personen bei der Montage zugegen sein.Bei einem Montageversuch an der Zimmerdecke musste ich feststellen, dass die mitgelieferten "Schräubchen" und "Dübelchen" absolut unterdimensioniert sind. Beim Einsatz massiver Dübel mit m12 kam es zur Kollision mit weiteren in der Zimmerdecke verlegten Daten- und Stromkabeln. Die Deckenmontage wurde damit kompliziert.Dann die zündende Idee ... aufgrund seiner Bauform und des massiven Körpers ließ sich der Propeller auch auf den Kopf STELLEN.Fix aus einem zufällig herumliegenden Pappezylinder mit dem richtigen Duchmesser einen ca. 10 cm dicken Ring mit ca. 5 cm Wandstärke abgeschnitten ... oben und unten ein jeweils 2 cm dicken Moosgummibelag angeklebt ... eine Kabelführung herausgeschnitten, damit das ca. 3 Meter lange Stromkabel mit Steckdosenstecker ordentlich abgeleitet werden ksnn ohne die Standfestigkeit des Propellers zu beeinträchtigen ... und dann mit dem Deckenventilator ordentlich verschraubt.Danach die gesamte Kostruktion kopfüber auf einen Schrank in der Raummitte gestellt, Strom dran ... und läuft perfekt. Das Eigengewicht des Ventilators sorgt für einen rutschfreien und sicheren Stand während zugleich durch die Moosgummischichten alle Vibrationen etc. vollständig ausgeschaltet werden. Der Ventilator ist herstellungstechnisch auch ziemlich gut ausgewuchtet und wackelt selbst bei höchster Drehzahl nur minimal ohne nachteilige Auswirkungen auf die Standfestigkeit.Durch den Drehrichtungsschalter läßt sich der Ventilator mit Luftstrom nach oben als sehr angenehmer indirekter Luft-Umwälz-Ventilator betreiben ... oder bietet natürlich mit Luftstrom nach unten einen recht intensiven Windmacher.Der Propeller wird in einem 25 qm-Raum betrieben!Mit Stufe 1 ist das Gerät fast lautlos ... sehr angenehm leise ... egal welche Drehrichtung ... gute, dezente Luftbewegung.Stufe 2 ... noch immer sehr leise aber hörbar ... unabhängig von der Drehrichtung eine starke Luftbewegung.Stufe 3 ... deutlich hörbar aber nicht laut ... Sturm im Zimmer.Die Beleuchtung:Eine undurchdachte Konstruktion! Es sind 2 x E27 Fassungen vorhanden ... aber es werden nur KLEINE LED-Lampen passen. Zwei ZIKEY E27 LED Glühbirnen 9W Maiskolben haben gerade noch so gepasst ... lieber kleinere Birnen (Mini-Bulbs) wählen! Empfehlung an den Hersteller ... 2 x E14 verwenden ... eigentlich reicht auch eine einzelne Birnenfassung, denn 2 Birnen in einem Metallzylinder mit Alufolien-Reflektor und Milchglasabdeckung bringen keinen nennenswerten Lichtgewinn.Fazit: Ein sehr stabiler,sehr flexibler und sehr, sehr leiser Deckenventilator, der meine Erwartungen bisher deutlich übertroffen hat. Die Fernbedienung funktioniert auch, wenn kein direkter Sichtkontakt zum Sensor vorhanden ist sehr zuverlässig. Über die Haltbarkeit kann keine Aussage gemacht werden. Die Energieeffizienz ist ein weiteres PLUS.Empfehlung: Ja ... uneingeschränkt. Ein heißer Sommer wird sicher erträglicher!Update 31.05.2021: Das Ding läuft noch immer perfekt leise und ohne Probleme! Der beste "Stand-"/Decken-Ventilator den ich mir jemals hätte wünschen können. Und im Vergleich zu den anderen Herstellern sensationell günstig! PS: Das ist einfach meine ehrliche und unabhängige Meinung als Käufer/Nutzer ... habe seltenbei einem Kauf so einen Glücksgriff erwischt.

Ero indeciso se acquistarlo per le dimensioni.Una volta aperto il pacco sono rimasto un po' sorpreso dalla grandezza del motore,poi ho iniziato a montarlo grazie alle chiarissime istruzioni e alla semplicità di assemblaggio in un'oretta ho fatto tutto senza difficoltà.Al termine ho fatto le prove e dopo aver accertato che tutto funzionasse perfettamente mi sono reso conto che una volta appeso al soffitto sembra molto più piccolo di ciò che sembrava inizialmente.Questa non è una critica ma per dire che le dimensioni su carta e da terra hanno un effetto molto diverso rispetto a vederlo appeso al soffitto.Comunque sono molto soddisfatto,la luce non è tanta ma a me sta bene perché c'è un secondo lampadario, è molto silenzioso e crea una bella brezza nella stanza.

Una gran compra. Lo compre para una habitación de menos de 10 m2 y ha sido un acierto. Todo genial. Fácil de poner. La pieza que va dentro del ventilador lleva su ubicación (no como en otros que va dentro suelta) .Queda fenomenal en techo de 2.45. En la velocidad 1 prácticamente no se oye y ya se nota la brisa de aire. Tiene los dos colores de las palas para ponerlas al gusto. El soporte para el mando en la pared es perfecto para que no se te caiga el mando al suelo. El mando es muy fácil de manejar. El precio es correcto para la calidad de la marca. Yo compre otro de la marca Faro (de las mismas características) y sin dudarlo este tiene mejor acabado y es un 20% más barato; para mi no hay color. El Faro no lo he devuelto porque lo compre antes y ya lo tenía instalado

-leichter Einbau-leichte Bedienung-Staylisch & HochwertigWir haben in unserem Schlafzimmer den Ventilator (21qm) eingebaut und sind mit der Leistung sehr zufrieden. Kaum bis überhaupt keine Windgeräusche bei Stufe zwei. Dennoch hohe Kühlung - Einfach im Sommer wieder Wunderbar durchschlafen.Alternativ hätten wir eine Klimaanlage (hohe Kosten) Einbauen können. Hat sich gelohnt, dass wir das gelassen haben und den Ventilator gekauft haben.
