Since discovering this stuff 10-15 years ago, I always keep at least two on-hand in my house.1. For a first aid application of scrapes and cuts, it's fantastic. However, I've noticed if you use it several times a day over several days, the cut/scrape doesn't heal as well as if I used an antibiotic ointment and a bandage.2. It also works really well on mosquito bites.3. Last, but probably the most important for someone like me who gets ingrown toenails, which for those who don't know, it's usually an infected toenail cuticle bed. But after cutting toenails and using the toenail cleaner piece, I spray this liberally on the toenail cuticle. Haven't had an ingrown toenail (infected cuticle bed) since. It is awesome. I just showed my niece and nephew this technique this past week. The very next day, their emerging toenail infections were gone.

However the can is not well put together.The nozzle that directs the spray is not the same for every can. Some apply spray where you directed it to go and other do not.This especially troubling when can is not directed where you want it to go-is especially troublesome when spraying under an arm or side of neck, or not up very close on any spot.. Can get in your eyes if not careful.

Lanacane spray is the first line of defense against the horrible itch of mosquito bites and other insect bites. Easy to use, cooling, and soothing. It may not rid one of all the itching, but certainly from most of it. Moreover it is antiseptic in addition to anesthetic. A perfect combo. I always have it on hand, especially in bug season.

Pain relief was great, but anti-itch was just so-so. Both times when used on a cluster of small bites/wounds, the wounds became infected. Regarding the presentation/packaging, the two cans were awkwardly taped together, and there were several random stickers partially stuck to each can.

I used this spray to help with an allergic reaction to a medication - an itchy rash. It started working immediately and lasted several hours. I will buy again for insect bites or rashes or any kind of itchy skin.

It helps. However, I expected it to be stronger.

I have been using it for years and ordered 4 of them. This is a must for every home dispensary and for the car. I fully recommend it.

Every once in a while I get a no-see-um bite or mosquito bite and need relief. It even works for Athletes Foot..
