I like it
I've owned the 48" fixture for several months now and it continues to perform with no issues. It puts out more than enough light for my 70-gallon marine aquarium.Mine is not a true reef tank; the only invertebrates it contains (apart from snails and hermit crabs) are three condylactis anemones, which seem to be thriving. Algae growth is sufficient to keep my snails busy and my anemones happy, but not at all overwhelming. My favorite thing about this fixture is how thin it is. I allows me to open the tank's glass tops without having to remove the light, which is great for feeding and for maintenance.Keep in mind that you'll have to purchase the power supply separately.Overall, I'm very satisfied with this fixture.

Very bright and well made!
Used these to supplement my radion on my 29g biocube. I bought the diamond white and blue. Honestly, I really only needed the blue as these are really bright compared to others I'veAmazon. When I use both strips with my radion, it's just too much light. The quality is solid and I couldn't be happier. I just need to get a ramp up/down controller. Oh, Only thing is the power supply they sell is too expensive. It's like $45 when you can find one with the same specs for $15 on amazon. Other than that, I highly recommend these!

A good value-line LED aquarium light
I have several setups of these lights for a number of years, and although I like them, they do have some issues. The quality of the light is quite good. I usually run two blues and a mixed white/blue for my coral tank. Most of my mixed reef tanks are 22-24" deep and I get reasonably high light on top and moderate light towards the bottom. I place my corals accordingly. I tend to run open top tanks with egg crate coverings or something similar. Therein lies the problems. I have had a number of the lights eventually burn out the LEDs, one at a time, and become unusable. Recently I had a 3-stick setup loose the 3-way splitter and one of the lights due to salt corrosion at the connector. I am replacing the splitter and the light, but this time I am sealing the connection point with hot glue inside heat shrink to protect it. I like the lights but I think they should be available with reds, greens, and UV options. And better waterproofing for the lights and the connectors.

Update: Quit working after just a month.
I bought these lights to hook up to a Current USA Ramp Timer Pro. My only complaint is, make sure you have the 24 volt not the 12 volt power supply. These lights are awesome actinics and I'll use them again in the future.Update: The lights worked great to begin with but after just a month or so one bar started flashing off and on and the other quit all together.

OK for lps and softies. Disappointing for sps.
I retrofitted my biocube 29 hood with these. Wanted to grow lps and sps coral. Ultimately used 4 actinic and 4 of the marine fusion modules. I also purchased the ramp timer (which was great) and the appropriate splitters and power supply. The color spectrum is OK. Many of my coral dulled significantly despite changing the intensities and placement. The strips have hot spots and do not diffuse the light well. With all the money I spent on these and finding a reasonable mix I was only about $100 dollars away from a Radion. I wasn't happy with the coral coloration and decided to make the leap to a radion xr15 pro. Wish I would have gone with the radion in the fist place. First, there is no comparison when it comes to spectrum. That dumpy looking orange brown acan is now purple blue and red again. Second, par is much better with the radion. I ran the trulumens at about 70% actinic and 80% fusion which would get me 200 par at the top and around 75-100 at the bottom. I run the radion at 30% and get better, more even par values all over the tank. 3rd, the level of control you can have with the radion is insane. The ramp timer was a great addition to the trulumen straps but doesn't even compare.Do yourself a favor and just save up for the better light.

Now an LED lighting fan for life!
I have an old SunPac compact flourecent lighting fixture that I used for years on a 46 gallon heavily planted tank. It wasn't until I purchased and setup a new 50 gallon acrylic tank that I was reluctant to lay my 90 watt compact flourecent lighting fixture on top of the acrylic so I looked into the TrueLumen which is also manufactured by SunPac. I have a freshwater partially planted tank and wanted a lighting affect that wasn't just a brighter-then-bright-blinding-white so I chose the combination blue/white strip that was recommended for marine tanks however this exceptional LED fixture is keeping my few real plants thriving! I'm so pleased with the lovely cool color this fixure puts out. I'm also soooo pleased that the LED fixture only consumes 23 watts! These things are also water proof!!! I'm planning on purchasing another one of these LED's soon. I highly recommend this product, you won't be disappointed. Oh the only complaint I have is the power line comes out of the strip in the very back of the strip instead of the side of the strip so if you have a canopy hood with little wiggle room you may need to carve out a little room to accomodate the power line or else it may wear away and expose the wires over time if you find yourself with a really tight fit. Mine has held up just fine so far but I sometimes wonder if it might stop working one day.

Outstanding
Pros Great Brightness, pure white, better than my double fourescent bulb interms of the quality of the light. Size. It doesnt look like much but is the perfect size. Just laid it on the top of my tank cover and it looks awesomeCons I bought a marineland LED light and I lost the box it came in so I can't return it. Not nearly as bright, bulky, but I can still use the blue lighting for night time effect. If you are looking for a bright daytime light - this is the one for you.

Buy an adapter!
I have yet to use it. I wish I knew the light did not with the power adapter. I would have purchased that when I purchased the light. It’s useless without it!
