Light and convenient
I'm a DIY-er with a 1930's single story house. I recently used my Werner AC78 Quickclick Ladder Stabilizer over the course of two full days while replacing all of the gutters on my 1,000sq/ft house. I attached it to a Little Giant Leveler. If you're wondering... yes, you can rest it on your roof and clear 5 inch K gutters easily. Below are my thoughts.INSTALLATION:First and foremost, the convenience factor of the AC78 Quickclick Stabilizer is simply outstanding. Installation is a breeze, and it's incredibly user-friendly. The quick-click mechanism is aptly named – it securely attaches to your ladder in seconds, and you're ready to go. No more fumbling with complicated attachments or tools. This alone has saved me precious time on my projects, allowing me to focus on the task at hand.WEIGHT:One of the standout features of this stabilizer is its lightweight design. It's astonishing how something so compact can make such a significant difference in the stability of your ladder. Despite its featherweight build, it provides unparalleled support and security, even on uneven surfaces. This not only puts my mind at ease when working at heights but also minimizes the fatigue associated with carrying heavy stabilizing equipment. It's a game-changer for those who need to transport their ladder frequently.HOW IT PERFORMEDMoreover, the AC78 Quickclick Stabilizer offers peace of mind. With its robust construction and reliable attachment mechanism, I felt remarkably secure and stable while working at heights. It significantly reduces ladder wobbling and sway, boosting confidence in my abilities and helping me maintain better balance.

Worth Every Penny for the Safety Alone
This stabilizer probably saved my life. I used it while installing lights around the top of my two-story house, especially on the hard-to-reach peaks. Before this, my ladder would slide on the siding, making it genuinely dangerous to work at that height. With the stabilizer attached, the ladder held firm and didn’t budge an inch.It gave me the stability and confidence I needed to get the job done safely. For the security and peace of mind it adds, this thing is absolutely worth it. A must-have for any serious ladder work around the house.

I’d recommend this despite 4 stars
This ladder brace comes in a nice package that is easy to assemble and the design is carefully thought out. The bucket hook included is a nice little bonus. It works well and is far superior to the off brand one I tried first and quickly returned due to horrible quality. The ONLY reason I can’t give 5 star is because, as nice as this little brace is, the aluminum used is really thin. I know weight is a big factor and lightweight is important when trying to raise and move ladders, but I’d much prefer just a slightly thicker gauge aluminum for obvious safety and security reasons. I believe this design was more about saving money than it was about saving weight. Other than that, if used carefully, it should hold up. Definitely not contractor grade. Occasional homeowner use is fine.

These work well but I found the rubber ladder tips worked as well, for $8
I bought these to give me some standoff and make accessing the roof easier. I found that using my neighbor's shorter extension ladder, plus adding the Werner rubber ladder tips, worked as well. These are really great if you want to climb on the roof without removing the gutters first, so will be extremely useful in the future. They also make it much easier to work on my high-mounted security lamps and cameras. They also come in useful when painting the highest portions of my house.Overall I am quite pleased but I could probably do without them. They do require my extension ladder to be extended about 3 notches when in use. My ladder is a bit too tall for that but my neighbor's extension ladder is shorter... works fine for spray painting the upper section of the house. Both the tips and these add stability to a ladder. I don't know about you but I am always afraid of a ladder slipping when I'm in the air. (That's happend to my friends/relatives and I'm way too old to take a a fall of 8 feet, landing on a ladder.)

Ladder Stability
Works great. No more shakey knee action going up n down the ladder. And ladder will not slide to one side or another. Keeps the ladder off of the gutters. And you don’t really feel the added weight to the ladder, it’s a must have for safety reasons. Many people get hurt not having one. So all in all the cost to me, will save on any possible medical expenses.

Good tool
It is easy to install, it is light, super practical and adapts well to the ladder, easy to put on, take off and store. It works well separating the ladder from the wall, it has been very useful for cleaning gutters.
