I have been looking for eco-friendly products to reduce the use of disposable plastics. This silicone leak-proof bag works well for me. I can reduce plastic waste when I use this instead of a ziplock bag for sandwiches, fruits and marinated meats. The best thing about this silicone bag is it keeps cut-fruits fresh. There is no plastic odor transferred to the food. It is washable and easy to clean. The material is sturdy, and can stand upright on its own when there is food inside the bag. I like the fact that it comes in a package of four bags with different colored slide-bars, I can designate bags for uncooked meat, cooked meat, fruits and vegetables. When purchased new, I found it difficult to slide the bar open but as per instructions, water helps reduce the friction. I also found that it gets a bit easier to slide open after several uses. Overall, I recommend this product to my friends as it will reduce the use of single-use plastics. Helps make a small contribution to our environment.

One of the sliders broke on second use, the second slider broke on the 5th use, and the two remaining sliders have cracks in them and won't last long. This makes the bags totally useless--you can't close them without these sliders. The bags are nice and thick and sturdy. They WOULD have been a great green solution if they had been usable for longer!Also, you need to use oil to get the sliders on or off (water wasn't sufficient). That makes handling the bags a bit of a mess.**I was able to contact the seller through Amazon, and they happily sent me replacement sliders. I don't know if these will last any longer than the first ones, but it sure was nice to deal with courteous, helpful customer service! Hooray, HomeBliss!

I wanted a reusable ziplock bag replacement and these seemed like they would do the job but they are very hard to open and close. I use mineral oil to lubricate the sliders and track but it still is quite an effort. Do not buy theses if you don’t have strength in your hands and lots of patience

Very briddle! Both of the bags we started using were broken within 2 uses. We haven't even used the other two in the pack and probably will not. Seems like a great idea and the silicon bags themselves seem to hold up. Buy, the cheap plastic slider is the only thing holding the bag closed so without them, it's a useless product. Instead of saving plastic bags from going to the landfill, now there will be more cheap plastic sliders and silicon bags in the trash.We even followed the directions and oiled the rail a lot when we felt the least resistence. Still broke. I have had a little luck with super gluing the rail back together but it's only a temporary fix and I wouldn't trust it to be leak proof. I'm going to try to make my own wooden or metal slides just so the silicon doesn't end up the trash.I'm sorry HomeBliss, I know you included a nice note not to leave a bad review but I would not want others to waste their money and then deal with returns and such. There are other similar products that hopefully perform better and actually last.

I love these environment-friendly bags. It can save my money from buying zip-lock bags constantly. I always out fresh fish and meats inside. Also, it is easy to clean. I can wash it in my dishwashing machine.There are 4 bags inside. I also use 1 bag to store my son snack. Overall, It is sturdy and durable. I'm very happy with these!

These bags seem like a good idea for those who are green conscience. I bought them because I was looking for reusable snack bags for the kiddos lunches. The smallest size is too big for that, but I’ve been using them to store leftover groceries. I like that it has a mix of sizes in the pack.

Way too big and thick for snacks. These are fine for fridge storage, maybe? The *plastic* zip sticks are extremely difficult to open and put back.I was looking to reduce plastic use, and having the zip locks be just plastic sticks (that are difficult to use) sort of defeats the purpose.

This storage bag works great, its strong so it wont break easily and I can clean and reuse it each time and not needing to throw it away. Its very strong and does not leak even when I store sauce and soup with it. Good it came in 4pcs so I store different things at the same time!
