Excellent value for money
Very pleased with this purchase, it's well built and sturdy, not too heavy to push or lift but strong enough to feel safe when using. Brakes are good, seat is comfortable and tyres are easy to grip to manoeuvre yourself. Wear a pair of gloves if you're going to do it yourself!

Comfortable and sturdy
This is a great chair that folds up easily and fits in the boot of my Renault Clio. It is comfy for my mum and nice to push. The brakes are useful downhill and the chair is very manoeuvrable.

good for outdoor use
This wheelchair is very comfortable and easy to manoeuvre. The tyres make it easy to use over uneven surfaces. It can be either self-propelled or pushed. There are independent brakes for use of anyone pushing.

Excellent for most terrains
We purchased this for my mother-in-law so that we could visit more outdoor places and in particular be able to do woodland trails (that are wide enough) and gardens. So far we have been able to go everywhere that we have wanted to together. I think it is necessary to make your own judgements as there will be a limit - but so far the chair has exceeded our expectations. We have not had any issues with the inner tubes supplied, but we will be carrying spares and a pump in a back on the back. The other thing we have done is add a power stroller to this chair. We have fitted it just behind the foot rests so that it does not stick out he back and get in the way of the person behind the chair. We have been very impressed with this addition - it has helped across all terrains so far which is excellent. A couple of things though. It will be necessary to turn one of the brake handles. The other point based on our fitting location is that it is not possible to lift the motor unit when it is installed due to the cross beams - but we have not had an issue because we always use the power stroller. If you do fit the power stroller it will be necessary to remove it before you can fold the chair.Hope that helps - we would not hesitate to buy another one if we ever wear it out.

Brake wires on handles in bad place
This is a lovely wheelchair, lots of great things about it. Unfortunately we had to return it because the brakes on the push handles (which we were excited about having) have wires thar are quite rigid and stick out quite a bit. My daughter is small framed, fragile and prone to her shoulders dislocating, so these hard wires touching the back of her shoulders was just not an option for her. It feels like a bit of a design flaw. The company were very understanding and excellent to deal with, and arranged the return for us with a 3rd party courier company. You do have to pay for the chair to be returned if its not suitable, just something to be aware of. My daughter was a bit gutted as it was a lovely chair, but it just wasn't suitable.

Great price & durability
Took this little beast out for a day trip and was amazing on the cobbled stones, doesn’t take long to unfold but do bare in mind with the wheels on can be a little heavy, I always take mine off when transporting it :) great chair, really made a difference

Good cheap wheelchair!
I'm quite short (5'1") and this fits me fine. I was worried it would be too big, and while it's quite large, it's not oversized. You're not going to get the same quality as a wheelchair where you can choose certain elements but for short trips and occasional use, this is fine. I found using it myself a bit difficult just because it does have such a large frame, it's quite heavy and the high back makes wheeling a little bit awkward (not sure if it's also because I'm very small). The wheels were very deflated when it came so you need to pump these up.It folds quite small, it fits in my tiny little aygo! Overall, for the price it's a good purchase but doesn't replace a made-to-order/nhs voucher/choose your own kinda wheelchair. I only got this because I didn't have any other choice. I do wander if one with a lighter frame would have been better as the "all terrain" tires do make it a little bit more difficult for every day use, I find that I'm being pushed over uneven terrain more than I'm able to navigate it myself.Because of the wide frame, narrow doorways is a bit of a difficult one... you're not going to be making many quick get aways in this! Definitely more of an outdoor wheelchair.

Really great chair! Needs better tire tubes.
The media could not be loaded. I'm giving this a 5 star review despite one large product defect. The defect can be over-come, and the company was so communicative and helpful, that they deserve the 5 stars.First the bad: the tubes in these tires are garbage. I read reviews that also said this before I bought the chair, and I intended to purchase new tubes ahead of time, but just didn't have the time to do that before my dad needed the chair. When you're taking care of someone who needs a wheelchair, it's important that it works 100% of the time. I wound up needing to transport my dad on this on completely flat tires. I took the tires to a bicycle shop and they replaced the original tubes. The company reimbursed me for this and we've had no troubles with the tires since. The tires came deflated. My brother in law pumped them up, but they quicky deflated again, one side more significantly than the other. I kept trying to pump them up to the correct pressure, but they just wouldn't persist. As the attached video shows, the nozzle/valve pushed into the tire at that point, and it was really difficult to hold it steady and attach a pump to inflate them. Attached also is a picture of the new tubes the bike shop installed. These have a metal nozzle/valve (though I'm not sure that's necessary), but they also have like a metal ring/nut on top that keeps the nozzle above the tire. The person installing these told me that might help. I have no idea whether these types of tubes are necessary, but I can tell you they are working well.Like I said, the company who sells these has been really great in their communication, but I would suggest they pass along the strong suggestion to source higher quality tubes. If they pay only $10 more for dependable tubes it would be worth it, and I'm sure people would pay a few dollars more for better quality. Now for the good stuff. I bought the 20" wide seat, because my dad is 206 lbs. It's a great size chair for him. The seat height is also great, which was one of the big selling points for me. So many of these chairs have a low seat. Elderly people have trouble standing from a low seat, so I'm not sure why all wheel chairs don't have a higher seat like this. The chair is comfortable to sit in. My dad has sat in it for hours on the patio, and hasn't asked to move to one of the patio chairs instead, so it's clearly comfortable. My dad can maneuver himself easily in this chair. We've taken it out on a few outdoor paths of dirt/wood/bumpy asphalt/crushed stone.. and it maneuvers very well.It is a lightweight chair, so you have to be mindful of that and not tip it. (you know, I wouldn't do downhill races with it..) But the light weight is a plus too as it's easy to lift into a trunk. I'm a 51 year old woman and I have no issue at all lifting it. My 75 year old mom lifted it into the trunk the other day and I didn't even notice her doing it, so it clearly wasn't a strain for her. We take off the foot rests to get it into the car but leave the wheels on.This is just a really well designed chair, certainly for what we are using it for. I recommend it, though I would definitely plan to replace the wheel tubes before you use it. Oh, another plus - they sell a lot of replacement parts. I can see down the line we might want a new seat cushion, etc. It seems that you can buy all replacement parts, so that's sure to be a plus as well.

GREAT VALUE FOR PRICE
most ergonomic wheelchair i have used, supports back at correct angle so i can sit in it all day without back getting sore - i got this as a multiuse chair, use it at my desk for computer and building with lego, fits desk perfect with the fold down armrests - i can still stand and walk a little so use it sort of like a walker when i can stand and a wheelchair when i cant , light enough to push around like a walker without trouble - it sturdy enough but for the price i didnt expect it to be heavy duty - quality is good for the price and i dont expect any problems, but i wouldnt do any major "off road" stuff with it - some have commented on tire tubes not good but mine has no problem at all and tires and tubes installed correctly and inflated enough to use out of the box

Decent
This wheelchair is pretty decent. Much more comfortable than cheaper standard wheelchairs. My husband can lift it fine and he just had double carpel tunnel surgery. You need to take the seat cushion off to fold it up. It came assembled. We needed to loosen one of the breaks right away though. If you want to add a bag on the arm it doesn't work well. Also I bought a grip cover for the push rim advertised for 24 inch tires but they were to big for this, even though the description says it's 24 inch wheels.

Beautiful chair!
We LOVE this chair! It is exactly what we had hoped for when we set out to find a chair for me that would allow me to be more mobile. My husband and I like to go for walks but because of my COPD, I can't walk long distances without frequent rests. With this chair, I push the chair until I get tired...then I sit in the chair and my husband pushes me. We cover much longer distances in this way than we could before. We wanted a chair that had a "soft ride" and could negotiate rougher terrain, not just paved trails but also dirt and grass trails. This chair does that. I wouldn't go climbing a mountain, but you can definitely negotiate rougher surface trails. It's so easy to handle, a very gentle and quiet ride for me and it's also easy for me to push myself should I want to. This chair seems very well constructed, with many thoughtful features such as wheel release buttons, brake access for both the rider and the person pushing, a seat belt, a pouch to carry stuff, etc. It folds up small and fits well in the back of our SUV. Overall we are terribly pleased with this product and would recommend it to others looking for a smooth and soft "all terrain" ride.
