Solar Buddies Child Friendly Sunscreen Applicator with sponge roll on for kids suncream and lotion

I ordered this after seeing it on the Today show. My kids, ages 6 and 9, hate putting sunscreen on and, as a parent, I don't enjoy it either. We received these right before our 4th of July vacation and it made putting on sunscreen a breeze. My kids didn't fight us and they actually put it on themselves. I highly recommend these. I will be ordering more!

Loved this for the kids! They like to apply themselves and this made it so easy! The liquid sunblock lasts way longer than the cans

Great idea but if the sunscreen is thick it is hard to roll on child. Also the sponge came off after a couple of uses.

This was recommended on the Today show. I gave it as a gift to my grandson. So, don't really know how it works.

Works well and is a great design.

You have to put a LOT of sunscreen in this for it to work at all. Then a lot is wasted when it runs low.

These are great for children to use themselves or if you don’t like the feeling of sun cream on your hands/don’t want to get messy.I use banana boat sunscreen as it is a good consistency for the roller. You don’t want one that is too thick or too thin or it won’t work so well.My kids happily use this themselves to put lotion on when we are out and about and no need to go hunting for a towel or sink to wash greasy hands

This is a brilliant little product for kids to put in their school bag or to use by themselves when they need it. You just unscrew the top and pour in any amount of sunscreen you wish. I just popped in some Nivea factor 50 for my little boy. It has a roller ball with a sponge around it so the application is even and not messy. It comes with an extra spare top, which I thought was great. It has a lid and even a space on the side saying ‘name’ where you can write your kids name on it with permanent marker or pop a sticker on there. Will always go with refillable sunscreen now as much more cost effective in the long run. Great product. Thumbs up.

Trying to put suncream on 2 children younger than 5 has always been a bit of a pain but this has made it SO much easier!Easy to fill and easy to use, my 4 year old is happy to apply it himself and my wriggle 1 year old is happy for me to use this as its so quick!

I bought this item after seeing an article on Facebook. I looked it up and eventually found it. My daughter's primary school have a no touch policy, which I can understand but I had asked them several times to make sure that she doesn't burn as she is quite fair and has come home from school with sun burn twice (she is 4). Everyone knows putting sun cream on once in the morning is not enough. So I bought this item to see if I can get my daughter to do the majority of covering her arms, legs and face herself. In the yellow part of the bottle you put the sun cream of your choice and the other end is a sponge and rollerball applicator. It seems to work very well. It's quite a chunky applicator so she can get a good grip on it. I keep it in her school bag and she knows to put it on lunchtime. So far so good. One happy mami with an unburt child coming home for school.

Great idea and very easy to use but the foam quickly came away after 3 or 4 uses which was a bit disappointing
