I really, really hoped this product would work. I knew it was a risk as the price is so cheap compared to the original, authentic brand (sold at a much, much higher price). I read all the mixed reviews and decided to take a risk on this product which is a higher price than on other websites. They do have 4 heat settings which change each time you press the on button (it took a while to work that out). For the first few weeks I tried curling my hair but ended up with dry, frizzy 1980's crimped hair!!!!! I read the 'pigeon English' instructions both on and within the box and followed them carefully but the instructions do not help and really need to be re-written in better English. I then watched all the videos on how to use the 'original product-sold at a higher price' online and replicated the technique but nothing worked for a while. However, once I loosened my grip on the handles and let the curling iron flow more freely through my hair, I started to finally create some curls- hooray!!!!! It is much easier to curl the left side and the right side is still a struggle but after watching hours of instruction videos, I finally am getting the hang of it. If you buy these, be prepared to make mistakes and be patient. Also, the videos are helpful to some extent but you actually need to get a feel for your own hair and the direction and tension you put on the curlers. Once you get a feel for it (which I haven't completely yet), I think it will come much more naturally, as will the curls!!!!!

I cannot say anything disappointed about this item. Working perfectly and to be honest the presentation is very cool. Coming in a nice box with accurate protection. The size allow be used easily and it is not heavy. Reaching the maximum temperature quick so you don’t have to wait long time to use it, and you can regulate the temperature as well. After some days used it I could appreciate that my hair was smoother and shinier so I think doesn’t damage the hair. My hair is thin and with other hair iron, I hadn’t good experiences, my hair always get damage easily but with this one I feel it is stronger and healthy. I definitely recommended it. Good choice.

Was difficult to get the hang of initially but once I mastered it it worked well. However one month after purchase, after only having used it 3-4 times, and whilst on holiday in the U S (where I had used it once!) it just stopped working - and it’s too late to return. So it probably worked out at £5 per use so I won’t buy again.

I have used many curlers, tongs and barrels over the years and was really intrigued when I saw these style of curlers pop up recently. I was impressed by how effortless they seemed to be and thought it would be great cutting down on the hour it normally takes to style my hair. Now it takes a few goes before you do get used to it, and at times it can feel like the hair is snagging on the plates but combined with a good heat defence spray and getting the knack of holding it like a motorbike throttle you get some very impressive curls that seem to stay in rightly. In the past with my straight hair even with a full bottle of hair spray they would be out within half a day.. with these the next morning I can tame my hair into a nice wave. It also only takes me 15 minutes for a full head which is fab. I'm really impressed with the price compared to its compeitior and they came well packaged . Overall very happy.

This arrived today and I couldn’t wait to try it! I have seen the more expensive version and thought I’d try this less expensive version first and maybe invest in the other one at a later stage...but there is absolutely no need to! This one is amazing! Took a few goes and few online tutorials to get the hang of it but half way through the curls we’re turning out perfectly! I am super impressed, I hadn’t held high hopes for this product but wow! I have extensions and it usually takes ages to curl all my hair...even on my first time using this It was only 20 mins, (and the first 10 were spent figuring out how to use it!) if the low price is making you hesitate about purchasing this item don’t let it, this is a fantastic product that just happens to be a great price.

I really like these curlers. They take a bit of practise but Once you get the hang of them they make lovely curls & it's the first time ever I be been able to curl the back of my hair myself. The only downside is outer casing gets extremely hot . I'd advise you get some heat protection gloves. Other than that really good for the price

I have tried to use this quite a few times now and I haven't managed to curl my hair! The instructions aren't very good that come with it. I have also tried to straighten my hair and it's not very good. Went back to my 10 year old GHD.

Still working these out. I know I'm a bit lost with my left and right and working in a mirror makes it doubley hardI guess if you know what you are doing these are fabulous but for me it's a bit hard work... So no curls here yet
