I needed to remove sealant that was accidentally spilt on a carpet when having replacement windows installed. Despite having been reimbursed for damage caused to the carpet by the contractor I thought I would try and remove the sealant from the carpet before replacing it. Having tried various methods and products to remove the sealant without success I was resigned to replacing the carpet until saw this product on Amazon.I was quite frankly surprised how well this product worked. It removed the dried in sealant from the carpet with ease. After wet vacuuming the carpet to remove any traces of this solvent the carpet looked as good as new.I would recommend this product.

It worked well.
This product worked really well, better than any other silicon remover I’ve ever used. The only downside is that it doesn’t go very far so that’s why it got 4* instead of 5*

Works well, but remove bulk of silicone first before using to soften the remainder.
Used this to soften remaining silicone which needed replaced. Probably best to remove bulk of silicone with a silicone scraping tool first, then use this to soften the remainder before finally scraping off.

Not a miracle worker , effective but pricey
Picked this up to remove silicone from a bathroom suite and tilesIt’s not a miracle worker, have to remove mechanically as much as possible so only a fine film remains, but works well on thatImpressed for removing adhesive especially sticker residue when peeled off.A little pricey for the amount you get

Product doesn’t perform
This product does NOT do what it says it will do ie dissolve & remove silicon grout. It is of no use.

Needed this to help remove the old silicone bead in the shower before renewing it.Very easy to use and very effective once you follow the instructions (which I did not do in the 1st instance-DOH!)
