Great value.I lost 2 letterbox lock keys to our outside letterbox and couldn’t find anyone to recut the last remaining key I had. In the end it was just easier, quicker and more cost effective to replace the whole lock which I wish I had done in the first place rather than waste time and money trying to get someone to duplicate the keys.

Worked a treat. We inherited an outside postbox when we bought a property, but the keys had been lost. I drilled a hole straight thru’ the centre of the old one (it was an aluminium barrel so fairly easy) once out - measure it’s length carefully in order to but the correct replacement. I ended up reusing the “latch” from the old one as it was curved, but the supplied one was straight. Worked very well. (We now have a spare too as it was a 2 pack) Good value. Quick service.

For any buyers, please be warned that the sides are not completely flat please see image (my original on left, new on right). The issue that occurs is that because it is not perfectly flat but slightly rounded that the lock actually rotates slightly on my letterbox.The locks work fine in general but now I have a lock that rotates 10-20 degrees.

No instructions, but it's easy to fit. It was slightly too long for our letterbox but it's a simple enough mechanism that it doesn't require exact measurements.

Used in custom made furniture. Excellent
