The Elements of Graphic Design: Second Edition

A good book to go for Graphic Design educations! Will recommend from myside to those who wants to learn graphic designing.

Lacks structure, not very clear in it's message. Not for a beginner in graphic design as the name of book may wrongly suggest

I don’t know, but I just can’t read the book. Righ on the first pages you read about how important is the page layout and if the page is to crowded it scares people. That the design must be easily readable. Well ... that’s not a case for this book. It is one big chaos on each page and it makes me extremely uncomfortable

Ich würde dieses Buch allen empfehlen, die ein Grafik Design Studium anstreben oder sich generell für diese Materie interessieren. „The Elements of Graphic Design“ liefert eine gute Grundlage um gutes Design verstehen und nachvollziehen zu können. Es sind genügend visuelle Beispiele für jedes Thema vorhanden. Es deckt wirklich alle wichtigen Elemente des Grafik Designs ab.Fazit: Exzellentes erstes Design Buch für Amateure aber auch eine gutes Nachschlagewerk fürs Regal, sogar, wenn man schon ein alter Hase ist.

Very well written. I'm learning a lot from this book. I'm studying graphic design and this is a great text book.

The book nicely covers every bases of graphic design, though the Kindle edition has some text cut off at weird places.

Definitely cheaper than buying direct from my university bookstore :)
