Yakry Customer service is very good.
We purchased the Yakry 2 camera system. It arrived on time and was easy to set up. The rv back up camera was super easy to install as the trailer was pre set up for the furrion system. I think the whole installation took less than 10 minutes, basically unscrew 4 screws, hook up the wires, and rescrew into the bracket. Piece of cake. I mounted the front camera on the dashboard with strong Velcro and used 3/4” plywood as a base for the monitor. After a few days the front monitor became unfocused, blurry like. I called Yakry service, that had me send some basic purchase info, and then they sent me a new front camera. They were very helpful and professional. I didn’t get the customer service representatives name but she was very nice. The replacement camera came within 2 business days and was quickly setup. It works great! Thank you Yakry for the great customer service and product.

This system works!
I'm very happy with this system so far. We have a Grand Design Imagin 28' that is prewired for a Furrion camera. The base for this camera fits the Furrion base nicely. It does not seal the opening. Plan on sealing the hole for the wires. I bought a second camera for the inside of the camper, we haul pets. Took a few minutes to figure out connecting the second camera. Not difficult, just poor directions. Once connected the signal is strong, no interference. I don't think I would have picked the 7" screen. Nice when viewing both cameras but takes up too much dash space. The vender was good to deal with too.

Toss the Furrion!
This inexpensive camera and monitor is so much better than the Furrion shark tooth it's replacing. I spent a ton of money to have the Furrion installed on my new 5th wheel. It was OK.. but not very clear picture... sunshine on the monitor blotted out the image... if the sun was shining on the camera... the picture was whited out. This camera is Great! Super sharp picture.. day and night... sun does not hardly effect the picture. I highly recommend making the switch.

Makes Parking and Driving So Much Easier
We really love this backup camera for our travel trailer/RV. It’s been a huge help when driving and parking our 36-foot rig. While there are occasional minor glitches or slight delays in the real-time display, they’re minimal compared to how much easier and safer this camera makes maneuvering. Overall, a great addition to our setup!

Every camper should have one of these!
I love this camera. The quality of the image is crisp on the monitor. I cannot believe this is a wireless system. The response is amazing. Not only can I back up my camper with ease, just knowing who and what is behind me and how close they're following while on the highway is fantastic. My camper was pre-wired for a backup camera. But it's easy enough to install on any camper just by removing one of the marker lights at the top of the camper. All you need is a positive and negative lead. The company also provides a YouTube video, which is very helpful for setting up your system before installation. And their customer service is very responsive. Any questions I had were answered in a very timely manner through email.Update: This past weekend I witnessed a fender bender at a campground. A camper backed up into a car at an intersection and crumpled the hood. Cameras are a necessity like windshield wipers.

Best backup camera for large vehicles! And how does it compare to cheaper models?
The media could not be loaded. Believe it or not, this is the third iStrong product I've purchased. As we have a couple of older RVs in the family, it only made sense to try out the different models. This review is for the top of the line model with the 7" screen, but I'll also be comparing it to it's $100 little brother.Let's start with the fantastic build quality. I was happily surprised to find the camera and transmitter unit was housed in a solid metal case with a protective glass plate on front. Because the camera is larger than the "license plate" models, you'll need to think in advance about where you'll place the camera. But, the package comes with a great swivel plate for the camera and several methods for mounting the display screen in your vehicle. Ultimately, your camera will get dirty, so it's nice that there is a flat glass plate in front for easy cleaning. The monitor is also solid, although made of molded plastic - which is better for your car's interior. It is well built with a detachable antenna and a place to hold your memory card. It's not a touch screen and the menu buttons require a bit of thinking to use, but they make sense. And while I'm talking about the menu options, there are some nice features for turning off or on the guidelines, selecting between NTSC or PAL, etc. There are a few oddities such as the "delay" menu feature that the instructions say does nothing. And, remember that you can start and stop video recording by using the bottom right button. It took me a couple of minutes to play with every menu option to see what they do. But it all works great, including the recording. Oh, and it comes with a memory card pre-installed!Next, let's talk about video quality. First, it's low light capabilities are amazing. It has a large number of infrared LEDs in the back and you will have no problem in the darkest of nights seeing what's behind you. I never had a single glitch in the video feed, but if your transmitter is placed at the back of your rig, they supply you with an antenna extension that allows you to place the video transmitter antenna closer to your receiver! Nice! I, however, didn't need to use it. As for the picture quality itself, the monitor may be 800 lines resolution, but the camera transmits using a rather strong compression algorithm that gives you some artifacts you'll likely notice when you're not moving. But, in practice, I think the extra compression helps to keep the frame rate reasonable.Unlike the baby brother license plate cameras that iStrong sells, this unit has almost zero delay between turning on power and seeing the video feed. It's fantastic. With the other units, you might place your vehicle in reverse and need to wait a second or two if you're applying power based on the backup lights. With this units, you put your vehicle in reverse and go! I love this feature. There are a couple of downsides. First, the monitor is LARGE. 7 inches is massive compared to the 4.3 inch model. I think this unit would be fantastic in a vehicle with a large cab. If you have a tractor trailer or class A motorhome, I think this is the model for you! But, a large monitor can also be more difficult to place in your cab. In the end, I wedged mine in the corner of my window (see the video) and used a bit of double sided table to hold it in place rather than using the mounting solutions it came with.Another downside is that when the video feed (transmitter) is not sending a signal, the monitor's backlight does not turn off. So, if your camera is setup for coming on only when you're backing up, you will have to manually turn on or off the monitor unless you want to see a "no signal" message on your screen. At night it can be distracting. Also, the brightness of the monitor can be distracting at night if you're using it full-time rather than just when backing up. Ultimately, you can decide how to use it.I'm really happily surprised to find that iStrong has real people behind their customer support. They reply to emails quickly and are very eager to help and answer questions.A word on the contents of the package: It comes with a lot... 12v power lines, cigarette plugs, wire splicers, several mounting options and the double sided tape you might want to use. It's definitely a full kit.In summary, this "big brother" model certainly has a more solid signal than the cheaper models and feels like it's built to last. If you have room in your cab and a place to mount the rear camera, then this is the very best option for large vehicles! If you have a smaller vehicle without much dash space, you might want to consider the smaller units. I'll probably install this unit on our Class C and the $100 model on my Class B.

I can see!!
Easily installed on our RV, which was already pre-wired for a Furrion camera system. Make sure to turn on your running lights or headlights on your vehicle to power on the camera. I have read that many people say the camera will not power on. This has a very clear picture.
