Waste of money for a Doberman
My Doberman was happy to get a new toy but had this destroyed in 5 minutes. Don’t think it is constructed similarly to the stick from this brand. The ring is hollow. Lots of weak spots for the hollow space to crack. Don’t waste your money if you have a strong chewer.

Dog loves this toy
This is not a chew toy and should be used as a fetching toy only, then put away when you're done playing with your dog. This is my dogs favorite toy. We play with it until he's about ready to drop from exhaustion, we have to make him stop because he'd fetch this thing forever. We take it away and put it up when not playing, as this is not a chew toy. They will last quite awhile if used as intended. They do get to were they don't stay on the launcher very well and then we replace them.

Our high energy dog's favorite
This is an integral part of our shepard/collie's daily routine. Collie's in particular are very focused, and are workers needing a ridiculous amount of exercise. Our nearly 3 year old has been using this twice a day, just about every day to get her energy out. Every 4-6 months we purchase a new ring as an old ring gets partly chewed, worn out, or lost but the wand typically outlasts the rings so this is where we buy them. In winter snow we have to transition to the chuck-it flying squirrel as this ring gets buried and lost in the powder. While I do wish she liked the tennis ball version more as that product is much more readily available (and you can sub actual tennis balls when needed), this one has some advantages. First, it is heavier than the ball. You can therefore put more effort into throwing it and get 50 yard tosses if you choose. Go easy though - I got tennis elbow from this thing. But that is probably due more to the twice daily 30+minute sessions with little breaks (this dog just keeps going!). Second, You can bounce and roll it higher and further than the ball too. My goal is to toss it up reasonably high and far enough that my dog catches it on the first or second bounce. She loves to catch it in the air but a quick inspection of her teeth tell me that's not a good idea (all of her 4 canine teeth are missing a little bit of them). Maybe I should ding this product one star for that, but my dog insists that it is a 5 star product. Lastly, it is heavier than the ball so be careful throwing it near buildings. I haven't broken any windows with this but there have been a couple close calls.

My big girl chewed on it for about 10 seconds and took a chunk out.
Hollow, and REALLY easy to pierce. My girl chewed on it for about 30 seconds before she brought it back and took a chunk out. I know this isnt meant to be a chew toy but dogs chew on stuff and we can't risk it as it is too "delicate" and hollow. Better suited for smaller dogs who aren't chewers or biters.

Good
If you’re using for a throw toy and your dog doesn’t chew, it is excellent. If your dog is like mine and chews his toys, this only lasted 1 day. All this brand products I have are high quality. I’m surprised the dog chewedIt up like he did.

Incredible fetch toy!
This is an incredible fetch toy, other than the traditional ball. My dog is obsessed!! He has to really be quick on his little feet and capture the ring when it makes unexpected moves!! It is not a chew toy so if your tog is a chewer be prepared! My dog is named, “Lord of the Ring”! Lol!

Does not squeak
Bought it for the squeak, dogs love the squeak chuckit balls.Bought 2 - neither squeak.Otherwise a sturdy product and the dogs play with it, but the main point is for it to squeak and get the dogs interested, and neither received squeaks in the hand or when chewed.
