Save yourself some money: buy this friggin' thing!!
This here machine just saved me $1800. I kept getting headaches that wouldn't let me work and I suspected there could be black mold in my house causing the headaches. I called a mold expert to examine my house: he came to my house and told me my house was crawling in mold and it would get worse over time and my son with asthma could end up hospitalized. This machine arrived 3 hours after he left. It revealed THE AIR IN MY HOUSE IS VERY CLEAN!!! The machine reads a 04 on the scale of pollution, which means it is very clean. And here I was about to pay this fellow 1800 to get rid of some nonexistent mold! I am so proud of myself for being smart and I am so glad my suspicion about mold was wrong! DO NOT hire a mold removal company without getting your own air quality measuring device and measuring the air quality yourself FIRST.

Cat Litter smells are a thing of the past!!
I love this filter,works great!! I have it in the room with one of my kitty litter box,if they make a stink it goes away fast.

Functions as intended.
Bought unit to help with removal of possible allergens in my bedroom. I think it is helping. I like the auto and timer functions. Has blue lighting that can be turned off if not desired. The lowest speed is very quiet. It works well and has some features that I would have expected only on more expensive units. Great buy.

I didn't like the look of it
I never upboxed it because when I saw the box and the shape, to me it looked like a small trash can. I didn't want it out on a table in my living area. I just returned it for being ugly.

Seems to be a good device.It does measure what it's cleaning up,although I can't actually figure out what it's measuring.it is quiet,multi featured,auto or manual operation and the filter seems easy to clean.So far so good,I may buy another.

Does not detect cat dumps
Product is fine. Definitely does not turn on when cat takes a dump. Unit sits 1 foot from litter box. Purchased two units to get rid of cat smells. I think it simply monitors for particles in the air, not odors. I think our indoor air is too clean for the devices to speed up. Upon turning on for first time, air quality number gauge was 6. Cannot find anything that mentions what number means. Wouldnt purchase if could do over.

Bought this to eliminate odors in my laundry room and after 1 day we noticed a big difference and after 2nd day all odors are gone.

Nice Little Filter
I placed the filter so it runs next to my bed at night to lessen my allergies, and it seems to be doing a good job. You can set the fan speed, and the device has a button to turn off its lights so you can sleep in a dark room without the bright blue number settings being a bother.
