6” 3 jaw chuck.
The chuck is well made and works well on my southbend heavy 10 lathe. I would recommend it.

Great chuck

Clean the chuck!
When I got this chuck it was very hard to adjust, so I took it apart and found that it was crammed with grease and who knows what. I cleaned and oiled it and it improved about 90%. The chuck is nicely finished on the outside, but the internal machining is not as good, and there are still some hard spots in the mechanism, which I think can be improved with some lapping of the pinions to the scroll. I mounted the chuck on my rotary table and it shows repeatable TIR OF .002", which is very good for a 3 jaw, especially from China. The internal quality is not up to BIson standards, but then you are not paying $600 for it either. I think this chuck is a very good value for the money.

May need some additional work
When opening the box, the chuck looked great with regards to the machined exterior surfaces. When opening and closing the jaws with the Tee Handle, the Tee Handle would bind frequently and would not turn smoothly. Based on previous reviews, I opened the chuck up and found the machining on the pinions and scroll teeth very crude requiring dressing and polishing. Once that was done, it operated smoothly.

Pretty good chuck for the money
The chuck arrived a week early and I like that. Seems to work good and run true. Decent for inexpensive 3-jaw chuck.
