This is a very nice product, especially for the great price. It is heavier duty and I was not expecting it to be that well made. I walk two 7 lb dogs with a split leash on this and it works great.

The media could not be loaded.  While walking my little dog this week, the leash I was using broke and the ribbon separated from the plastic housing. Fortunately, my little dog was busy sniffing a tree and never noticed that she had total freedom! When I returned home, I went on Amazon to find a replacement leash.There were so many leashes to choose from and many good prices since it was Cyber Monday. I finally settled on this leash, which wasn't the least expensive, but had many good reviews. I am now adding my positive review to the list.The leash feels very sturdy in my hand. It has a little bit of weight to it but not so much as to be uncomfortable on a long walk. The ribbon comes out smoothly and so far I haven't had any trouble with it tangling. The lock works easily and holds well. It is very simple to unlock or to pause my little dog while walking. The ribbon is wide enough that I can grab it if necessary without worrying about burning or cutting my hand.This is a much better quality leash than the one I had purchased previously and I'm very happy with it. The pink color is vivid and contrast well with the black on the handle.

I like this dog leash as it is easy to hold and operate. Only issue is when retracting sometimes the line gets twisted and gets stuck. I have to pull it out some and untwist for it to go back in.

I have never needed a retractable leash in the past, but with the terrible winter we are having I had to find a way to control my 11-year-old dog's outside time. It was suggested that I try a retractable leash. This one is perfect. I can let her out to do her business while allowing her the freedom to "pick her spot" and also control the amount of time she is out. It's also much easier on me since I don't have to trudge through the snow and ice to convince her "time is up".

The leashes are the best! After a little over 4 years, I just had to replace one. Others I’ve had didn’t last more than 6 months so I’m STUNNED this one lasted over 4. I have 2 dogs and the other leash is working fine but I decided to get a new one for the other dog too. I’ll save the old one in case someone needs it. I will say I love the “locking” ability better than the other. Definitely easier to use. I have little dogs and one thinks she’s a big dog and I feel like locking it so she can’t go anywhere works better with this leash.

Despite the description, it does get tangled up when retracting because the spinner at the clasp is too tight and does not spin freely, causing the web strap to twist and remain twisted while retracting.The other item that I knocked off a second star was because the strap full retracts so only the clasp stays out to attach to the pet harness. My other retractable leash has a stopper so that about 18" remains out so you are not attaching the lead while the handle component is basically on your pet, which most pets don't like.Other than that, the handle fits OK, a little small but I also have rather large hands and the lock button is easy to operate.Time will tell if it lasts, the web strap doesn't look to sturdy - especially if the dog is an avid chewer, make sure the web stays out of range for them to chew on it.
