If using on heavy shower doors, I recommend using 4 or more per door.

Silicone required to install
Unfortunately neither the product description nor the packaging mention that SILICONE is required to install these. Also, the installation is probably a little more difficult than most are expecting.I suspect many who are having issues with these sliding off didn't follow the instructions. You have to put silicone caulking between the bracket and the glass (super glue is not the right material to use for this application). I think the Silicone is really what is holding the glass and not so much the screws. The screws are more to hold the bracket in place while the silicone dries (and a 24hr dry time is required, per the instructions, before hanging the door).I installed mine without the rubber insert, but used a tub/shower caulk product and waited the 24hrs as instructed. The brackets are holding for now. Another thing that I don't like (fault of my doors) is that my previous brackets were mounted using a through-hole bracket and these new brackets do not cover up the old hole.I agree screws are kind of soft / aluminum, should have bolt type or allen type head. The screw holding the wheels on my brackets were tight but not overly. I was able to unscrew them without too much difficulty and without stripping the heads (but I was extra careful based on the other reviews / made sure to use correct bit and wasn't over aggressive). It looks like the bracket may be rubbing on the wheel track of my shower door frame. It slides okay, but I will probably have to add a washer/spacer to position the wheel slightly further from the bracket. The new brackets are slightly thicker metal than the old ones I took off, so hopefully they will hold up for awhile.

Waste of Time and Money. GARBAGE!
Garbage! Per instructions, I used silicone to attached the little plastic channel-shaped insert over the door edge, then I used silicone to attached the metal brackets over the plastic channel-shaped insert before fastening things down with the screws. Then let set for a day before hanging. Door came out of the brackets within 15 minutes of hanging them. So disassembled, cleaned the glass with razor scraper and alcohol and removed silicone from inside and outside of the plastic insert and the metal bracket and tried again. Yet again, door slides out of the bracket with minimal disturbance.GARBAGE! Save your money and save a couple hours of your time. Don't buy.Follow on: door slid out and shattered. Now we need whole new shower door

It Worked
It worked for a quick fix, but would not purchase again, to much work to install for a novice like me.

Solid, Well Constructed, Better than Original!
I was about to give up hope on fixing this shower. I had ordered three sets of brackets from another company that more exactly matched what they were replacing. Still, within a few days, the shower doors fell down again. These brackets, however, have screw holes that don’t strip on first use, so you can actually tighten them. That, and a bead of JB Weld adhesive, and the doors are more solid than new!
