Does reduce splashing
Fitted on new kitchen tap and reduced 90% of splashing. Easy to fit and good enough for normal use.

Don't bother.
It lasted 2 weeks and the plastic broke.

Excellent little gadget
Loved this so much I bought a spare one incase it becomes unavailable. Incredibly easy to put on and take off from my boiling water tap. This extends the tap for splash proof dish washing and rinsing. Pops off easily when I need boiling water. Didn't even need the clamp to hold in place.
