I'm really impressed with this grass trimmer. My old one had died, so I waited until this one was offer. A bargain for a little over £55 with a battery.My mower batteries are compatible, although the battery last so long on this that I likely won't ever need to use a bigger one on it.This adjusts easily, but also folds down quite compact.Cutting is good. I'm impressed at how easily it's gone through foot long grass.My only complaint is that whoever wound the pre-installed spool really cocked it up big time. The end was tucked under the would spool, so is unusable. I'll probably need to cut it off as there's no way to unwind it. Thankfully, the second spool (stored on the arm) was fine.Overall, really good, excellent value and perfect for my needs.

Really pleased with edge trimmer. Battery has a good life and so easy to use. So much better than the corded one I had previously. Value for money

A very solid and weighty piece of kit, all looks very substantial, don't purchase if you want something light to lift because it isn't. Good that it uses a Briggs and Stratton battery BUT Sprint no longer exists, if you try & register the guarantee (with the promised free gift) the website is none existent. When you read up it appears Briggs & Stratton went bust in 2022, it appears Murray are something to do with Sprint but the links for parts send you straight back to Amazon. Be very wary about getting replacement spools, I ordered 2 from another site yesterday only to get an email to say they are no longer available. You can of course order them via Amazon but they work out at about £20 - I am and will find an equivalent. Back to the 5 year guarantee, Amazon said they will cover it.

Light weight and well built. OK to trim edges in a straight line but lawn edges to curved lawn is beyond the machines design. Catches to retain battery were too tight and not user friendly.
