These did the job for fitting a flexible hose to two bathroom extractor fans. I used duct tape to cover the hose before fitting the clips to prevent damage during tightening. I found that the screws are very stiff so recommend turning them with some lubrication added before fitting. They are not stainless steel so not recommended in damp environments as they will eventually rust, especially at the threads where the plating will be scored.

Since i bought 2 of these Kair Metal Hose Clip 100mm - 4 inch Ducting Clips for Flexible Hose, my awareness of the unbridled joy that can be experienced by owning and using these clips has been truly amazing. I do wonder how i ever coped before and confess to being tempted to buy more - just in case - though not sure what it would be just in case of. I decided to use my clips to secure some flexible hose to ducting which is exactly what they are for and so far they are working really really well. It will be years before i can tell if they last so i will set myself a reminder to check so i don't forget and can then update this review. In summary a huge success and a truly wonderful clip.
