Quality Cap, Solid Construction
This is a great cap for hot oil treatments. My hair is rhick and waist length and I am able pile my hair on the top of my head and fit it all in easily with room to spare. The channels holding the seeds are solid, and nicely keep the seeds evenly spread across the head so the cap heats evenly without being lopsided. The elastic band is thick and snug-fitting, so the cap does not shift or slip when wearing it. And finally, in my 1100 watt microwave, 1:50 seconds is my personal sweet spot for cap heating. It's very hot, so please be warned, but I personally can tolerate it, but I have a lot of hair for the heat to travel through to get to my scalp. The heat lasts about 30 minutes for me. When I heated it for one minute, the heat only lasted about 12 minutes. I usually reheat it once to get an hour long treatment out of it. Quality construction, overall a great performing cap.

Thorough heating
I really like this microwave heating cap. It’s very comfortable on my head and the heat was distributed evenly throughout my scalp. It took at least 4 times in the microwave for me to get the right temperature for my scalp and it lasted at least 25 minutes before it started to cool down. I like it. I recommend it.

Does what is says
Makes wash day pre-pooing and deep conditioning my hair a breeze. No more having to sit underneath my hooded dryer for an extended time. I can actually move around with this cap on my head. Same as other reviews it does have to be reheated after about 20 minutes, which is not a problem. Cap is kind of small but the heat gets where it needs to get if you have all of your hair bunched up on top of your head under a shower cap

Does the job
This cap is good at heating up in the microwave and giving heat to your hair. My 2 issues are that the cap is not big enough for people like me who have very thick hair. And second the middle/center of the cap gets wayyyy too HOT and it has no choice but to sit on the crown of my head. And it burns so badly that i have to keep lifting the it up in the middle. I guess this is where the main source of heat generates from. But it is the biggest annoyance. But overall the cap does distribute heat for a few minutes long enough to soften hair with conditioner. Would recommend if you have no space for a traditional hooded dryer.

Works for what I need
This is my second heated bonnet. I melted the first (different brand and type). With this one I don’t heat it longer than 1 minute and 30 seconds and I make sure to dry it after getting it wet while deep conditioning my hair so it doesn’t sprout. I have natural coily hair. I put on one of the shower caps it came with, put this bonnet on, cover it in a conditioning bonnet I bought (turned out to just be a silver spray painted shower cap 😒, and my microfiber turban towel. Usually take it off and reheat it for 1.5 minutes again to get 30+ minutes of conditioning. Works for my needs. Keeps me from being stuck in one place with a hooded dryer

Great Buy
I absolutely love it. This cap is sooo convenient. I’ve used mines about 2-3 times. It is kind of heavy on the head , naturally because of the flaxseeds. The flaxseeds are evenly spread and stay that way.Be careful with keeping it on your head for too long because the heat plus the weight gave me a headache so remove it once it cools. It’s perfect for deep conditioning your hair while your busy.I find this product to be very convenient , the quality is real good and worth the money. I love it , I love that I could move around freely.

Cools fast, smallish
2 minutes was too long, but even then, it cooled off fast, needing more at 10-15 minutes. I don't recall if I've ever turban wrapped it in a bath towel. That might help retain heat. The included plastic shower caps BARELY fit over my shoulder length hair. I've torn them trying to force the fit.The pockets don't quite cover all of my scalp. But, all in all, it's ok. It gets hot, stays on my head, warms my hair up. It's better than the zip lock bag of rice I was using, but only because it's more convenient (pre-assembled into a container that doesn't change the amount of air in the pockets), easier to use (being an elastic banded cap), and better distributed (the flaxseeds are stitched into pockets.I can't decide if it needs smaller pockets or not. They might not hold heat as long, but they might be more even? An exterior insulating layer would be nice. It's heavy.
