Both units were loose in slot, would not post. Do not recommend
Dimm was very loose in slot, had wiggle room and managed to trip short circuit protection, Both dimms I ordered did the same loose thing. As a builder with low funds the amount of money I paid for two adapters was not worth the hassle, I could have easily bought an 8gb stick instead of using 2 8gb sodimms in a dimm adapter especially one with such poor quality. Do not recommend! If you need memory that bad please look for proper full sized dimms! Do not buy this junk!

Worked just fine for me
Repurposed my soddim that was laying around. was skeptical, had to reseat the soddim memory once then it was good to go. I was curious — tested on 3 different motherboards, and it worked fine on all of them.

okay
These will work, Just adjust the ram setting in your BIOS to not exceed the maximum hz for these which I believe is 2133hz. They work well, and can be picky with computers sometimes.

Not compatible with faster RAM
When I read the description it was not clear that it won't work with faster RAM. I assumed that the 2133mhz limit would automatically down speed faster modules to that maximum speed (like motherboards do). Unfortunately this is not the case. The mobo POST still negotiates with the RAM what speed to run at, so fast RAM still tries to run fast and fails. If your SODIMMs or mobo max out at 2133mhz or lower you should be fine. Any faster, you might be lucky, but will most probably fail. My SODIMMs are 3200mhz and failed in every machine.

Intermittently lose contact
This intermittently lose contact with the Dell Optiplex 7050 DIMM slots. I tried to reseat multiple times and even plug into different slot. It will work for one week and then next time, the Dell machine will give a blinking troubleshoot light of board error.I don't have issue with similar adapter picked up from AlieExpress, using the same Micron SODIMM.

Didn't work at all
I tried this laptop to PC ram adapter, on 3 different motherboards and couldn't get it to even register the ram.I'm not sure If they are selling this as a ram tester, but it definitely doesn't work as an adapter. 0 starts
