Creamy Without the Carbs—Now on Subscription!
recently made the switch to milkadamia’s Unsweetened Barista Macadamia Milk after five solid months of using oat milk in my coffee. Once I realized how many carbs and hidden sugars I was drinking every day, I knew I had to find a better option.✅ Lower Carb & Calorie Win – This milk has way better macros than oat milk, which was a big priority for me.✅ Creamy but Clean – I can’t do almond milk (too thin and bland), but this hits a nice middle ground—creamy, slightly nutty, and satisfying without feeling heavy or sugary.✅ Easy to Steam – It foams well and gives me a nice latte texture. It’s not quite as velvety as full-fat oat milk, but it still makes a great cup.✅ Tastes Better Over Time – It took me a couple cups to fully adjust, but now I genuinely love it and look forward to it every morning.✅ Now on Subscription – I committed! That’s how much I love it—it’s officially part of my daily routine.✅ Better Value Than Local – At around $32 for 6 cartons, it’s actually cheaper than what I was paying at my local health food store. It’s not 100% “pure” if you’re avoiding additives altogether, but for me, the ingredients feel like a good compromise between health, flavor, and function. If you're trying to reduce carbs and sugar but still want that café-style feel, this is a great option to try.

Update
I am, once again, placing another order for the Macadamia Nut milk style I first ordered, which is the unsweetened barista. When I re-ordered this the first time, I was sent the wrong style. I was sent the one that is slightly sweetened. It wasn’t bad, but it was not what I wanted nor what I ordered; my order history attests to that.I’ve read other reviews wherein it was stated that the manufacturer will not accept returns. However, if I am once again sent something other than what I ordered from this manufacturer, I will notify Amazon and make a very strong demand that I not have pay for it. That is actually in line with the US postal code regarding the receipt in the mail of anything you have not ordered. We’ll just have to see how this goes. I really do like the unsweetened barista and recommend it as a good milk substitute.have trouble digesting milk easily, so have been looking for a non-dairy drink that I would like in my tea, coffee, cereal, or just to drink by itself. I’ve tried all the alternatives such as almond, oat, coconut, and rice drinks. But was not particularly fond of any of them. Then I heard about macadamia “milk.” It’s not easy to find in local stores, and also not inexpensive. I found this on Amazon and took a chance, so bought the 6 pack of the plain original unsweetened Barista style. And it’s good!! I like to froth my milk for my coffee, and this froths beautifully, and holds its froth. It has a much creamier consistency than any of the other alternatives I’ve tried. I’ve even had it by itself and it’s fine. There isn’t any unpleasant taste or aftertaste to it. recently reordered and made the mistake of ordering the same brand but one that is “lightly sweetened” with cane sugar. The carbs per serving is low enough that I’ve decided to keep it, since I take my coffee and tea sweetened. I may never buy any other type of “creamer” again; I like this that much! If you’re looking for a good milk or non-dairy alternative, give this a try.UPDATE: I just double checked my order and I did not order the sweetened by mistake; it was sent to me by mistake. Just used the sweetened for the first time. By itself, it has a really nice, very lightly sweetened taste. However, it is not as creamy as the Original plain I first ordered, and though it did froth, the Original froths better and holds its froth better. Since I’ve already opened one of the Sweetened cartons, I won’t try to return the other 5 that came in the pack. But next order I will return if sent what I didn’t order. Over all, this is still a very good milk alternative and, imo, better than any other milk alternatives I’ve tried. .

EXCELLENT!
BEST plant-based milk I have ever had and I have never written an Amazon Review before. This milk is creamy and rich, easy on the stomach and delicious for matcha lattes. I look forward every morning to making my warm drink with this milk. It deserves an award!

Great milk alternative for diabetics
I developed gestational diabetes during my last two pregnancies and despite having dropped a lot of weight, I am still considered pre diabetic. I am also sadly lactose intolerant. Unfortunately, it wasn’t until after my last pregnancy that I found out how awful oatmilk is for diabetics because it absolutely sky rockets your blood sugar levels. Which may be a reason why my diabetes has carried into my postpartum era. Anyways, I was told by a dietitian that most milk alternatives raise blood sugar levels exponentially. However, coconut and macadamia nut are the two that are your best options. Now, with this being said, I have switched to the macadamia nut milk for my overnight oats, protein shakes, and chia pudding and they all taste great. There is no overpowering nutty taste like that of almond milk and it is not sweet or toasty like coconut milk. To me, it’s the closest taste to regular milk when used in prepping items that call for milk.I have never been someone who enjoyed drinking a plain glass of milk and will not drink this on its own either. I will say that the texture is about as thick as vitamin d milk and it unfortunately does not froth in my milk frother. Also, it does not taste good as an alternative to oatmilk in coffee.Overall, I have found it to be a great milk substitute that is still relatively versatile and not terribly expensive.
