CONTOUR NEXT ONE Blood Glucose Monitoring System All-in-One Kit for Diabetes

Switched to the Contour Next from an older ReliOn meter, and the difference is huge. This one’s way more accurate — readings are much closer to what I get at the doctor’s office. Super easy to use, and the app is actually useful, not just fluff.I’d suggest grabbing the Level 1 and Level 2 control solutions (sold separately). I use them to make sure the meter stays accurate — just a good habit if you check often. Added a pic of the solution I got.Really solid meter overall

This glucose monitor is small and easy to read. It's accurate & easily draws the blood into it. You can have a 2nd chance if your drop of blood wasn't enough by adding more. It draws quickly & doesn't require a very large drop. It's more consistent than another monitor I'm using. I would buy it again & will continue to use this one and buy more test strips.

I have one, my wife has one, her sister has one, and now my brother in law has one. Very compact, easy to use, no issues, and a great app for the iPhone as well. This comes with everything you need to get started as well. And the refills are not expensive either.The batteries last over a year of normal usage.

My insurance pays for a device that was inaccurate and the strips were one of the most expensive on the market. When I ran out of strips I borrowed my husband's contour and loved everything about it. I am not an "app" type of person but found the app very easy to navigate and export for my Doctor's review. The strips are reasonably priced and the accuracy of the device make this system well worth the out of pocket cost. I have tested accuracy against multiple devices, including hospitals and GCMs and found that this device to be extremely accurate, unlike my old device which was off by 70-100, which is simply unacceptable. I also bought the control solution and know my readings are accurate. I love that it requires less blood and allows a second dip on the same test strip because sometimes my fingers get cold and this makes getting a good drop of blood tough. I highly recommend this device.

This is great. Very small / the entire kit is the size of a can of soda.It links to the app on my phone and seamlessly into my Apple Health account.It has a port to recharge it so it won’t just die and have to be tossed.Looks expensive but it a very good value for what it is.It comes with lancets and test strips (20 & 20 I believe.) The brand is easily available at any pharmacy so the test strips should be easy to find when out.I am pre-diabetic with a cousin and brother 4 years older than me that are on insulin. This monitor is going to help me keep a check on my glucose to try and push off diabetes as many months / years as I can.Updating detail - when you take a reading you need to leave the device on for a few moments to allow it to sync with your bluetooth. If not it will record it the next time you power it on.

Very easy.

This meter is approximately 99% accurate which is one of the closest meters you can purchase. The only one thing I don't like about it is it doesn't have a strip ejector. You have to pull the strip out of the meter by hand. Other than that, it's a great product.

I purchased this specifically due to quite a bit of researching recommended glucose testing devices.The Contour Next One was consistently reviewed as having the best accuracy.Amazon reviews were 3 to 1 in favor of accurate and reliable readings.Other websites (I viewed many) and comparisons listed this brand and model at or near the top of their lists.So I purchased the bundle (monitor, lancets, and test strips) as well as more test strips separately.I had tried the Keto Mojo monitor. The keto readings were close to my Doctor's results, but the glucose readings were always ridiculously high (30 points or more ) than labs.I had fasted for about 5 hours before trying it out, expecting based on consistent past experience for it to be a little over 100. (I was using the Libre 3 plus, but got tired of having it stop working days earlier than it said it would.)I first used the test strips that came with the bundle and got a reading of 154!I then tried a test strip from the other ones I ordered separately. (The expiration date was about a month longer.)The reading was 109! (which I would expect as normally accurate).I then tried the Keto Mojo and it came back with 138. (About 30 points higher than typical past results)I tried another strip from the 2nd bottle that brought back the best results, to verify it was consistent.It read 142! Even higher than Keto Mojo.Can't trust these monitors or maybe it's the strips.....doesn't really matter.My experience is the constant monitoring patches are probably the most accurate, but even the Libre 3 plus had accuracy issues when I started a year ago. They've updated the product for accuracy, but now the new ones don't last the full 14 days. (They will replace them for free if you call, but the process is a hassle.)
