It was a perfect fit for my pot. It’s durable and sturdy.

This seems to be a general "one size can be made to fit most" productI was bummed when my favorite pot broke & hoped this new handle would work vs investing in a new pot.That being said; When I unpacked this new handle, The included screw was the wrong size & thus the mounting hole in this new handle was too smallHowever; after drilling out the hole in thisnew handle & using the original screw from the pot it's a really good fit & I am happy.Not necessarily a "Plug & Play" item for me but the plastic handle was easily fitted.

Is not heat resistant, handel gave off terrible plastic smell when on the stove warming up some soup.

Did not fit the shape of the kettle like I had hoped.

I returned this but am reviewing it because Amazon bugs me to review it. Right hand check what left hand is doing, please.I ordered this and another one that I thought had some differences but looked very similar. It turned out there was no difference. Different marketer but identical product. I intended to use the one that fit best. I had to do some drill hole enlargement to get the handle of the one I kept to accept the bolt from the broken one it was replacing and I used a Dremel to make the metal band be congruent where it met the pan but once that was done the new handle was perfect.All the same would have applied regardless which one I chose to use.

Broke the handle of an older sears pot. Replacements unavailable.Ordered this bake lite handle.. Came with an undersized screw.. No sweat i had the older screw..Unfortunately it was to big for the handle.. Simply redrilled the hole and upsized the counter sink.Now it fits and life is good again
