I used this on a old honda z50r dirtbike and it worked fine

Should be ok, only thing to watch os a ac or dc inigition system. Most are ac smaller CDI.

Q: Will this work with 50cc baodiao mvp scooter?

If its a GY6 engine it will. You just have to make sure if your scooter is a AC or DC ignition.
