ROKR 3D Wooden Puzzles for Adults Marble Run Model Building Kit(LGA01 Marble Night City)

Easier than I thought it was going to be.

The media could not be loaded. This marble runner is an absolute hit! While it’s designed for kids, even adults will enjoy assembling and experimenting with it. The quality of the pieces is excellent, and everything fits together smoothly. It’s a great way to introduce children to basic physics concepts like gravity, motion, and energy conservation in a hands-on, engaging way.Watching the marbles navigate through the maze is both fun and educational. QR codes for videos don't work. I didn't want to watch it anyway.. just wanted to see if the link worked. Nope.I had to put something under each corner of the finished product to ensure the tabs underneath didn't bottom out and make it unlevel. Once I did that it worked perfectly... (My fault.. my workspace wasn't perfectly flat.. all is fine on flat surface)Some parts seem to be unused .. or too mysterious to figure out. C26 in step 11 is an example. It's in the diagram but just floating there... No place to put it and its not needed.Despite all this I enjoyed putting this together and would still recommend. Sort of in the spirit of puzzles to have to improvise and scratch your head now and then.I highly recommend a magnifying glass to view the diagrams too.

What an awesome piece of fun! The instructions were awesome and easy to follow. The pieces were well made. I didn't have to use but a few of the extras. It works great. This is up there at the top of my list of marble runs to make and enjoy!

This was my second ROKR puzzle. I did the Marble Spaceport LGC01 one first, and I'm glad I did. Compared to the first one, this puzzle's instructions were less clear (and there was a mistake in one of the steps), the material pieces were more flimsy, and the assembly was convoluted. If this was my first ROKR puzzle, I probably would have given up in frustration. I did not break a single piece in the first puzzle, but had to repair several in this one. Keep a bottle of quick set wood glue handy! In the end, it worked and is a great puzzle, but not the best exposure to ROKR.

As others have said its very important to follow instructions carefully otherwise a piece may be oriented incorrectly and you may not realize until further down in the process. Then you have to retrace your steps. The instructions are actually quite clear although you may have to read multiple times to fully understand. While most pieces fit together well a well placed dab of super glue can be used to hold together better. I ignored some of the tiny dowels and opted for glue instead of force fitting. A minor issue was distinguishing the identification of the dark pieces.All in all a rewarding project that I and my grandchildren have enjoyed it without destroying it.

Easier to construct when the instructions were clear, otherwise it’s a true puzzle. I couldn’t get it to work as pictured but rigged up a fair workaround. It says glue is not needed, but it doesn’t hurt either, and I used it when I was sure of the correct fittings.
