Q: What's the hardware version? version 2?

I received this router from Amazon on August 4, 2015 and it was NOT a version 2 as was indicated by the Manufacturer on this page. I spoke to an Amazon rep on the phone and he was clueless on how to ensure you get a version 2 router. Version 2 units started shipping in May 2015. WTF?

Q: I have DSL, will this router work for it?

Yes, as long as there's an Ethernet connection from your ISP to your router (WRT1900AC).

Q: I have a two story house as well as a finished basement. About 4,000 sq ft. Will this router work for two PS4's on opposite sides of the house?

I have a 2 story ,6500 sq ft home with 3 PCs, 2 IPads, wireless printer, and 3 smart TVs. Range and speed are excellent. Very robust router.

Q: what about video streaming?

This would be ideal for extreme gaming and video streaming. Of course you have to have fast internet connection to begin with, if you are only allowed 10 mbps by your provider then you are only limited to that regardless of an AC router.

Terrible experience and unworthy

I receive the product yesterday on the 29 July. When I open the box. The item was not even complete. The CD is not provided. Not even a manual. And when I setup based on YouTube. Now the router keeps crashing every time. Reset button doesn’t work and not responding. Keeps on showing eSATA for no reason. Sometime power light not even showing. Internet not showing but yet connected. Worst case. Unable to contact seller for inquiries. Be careful
