I absolutely love these Sharpie S-Note markers. The pastel colors are so pretty. I use them all the time in my planner and for note-taking, and they add just the right touch of color without bleeding through the pages.The chisel tip is super versatile for both underlining and writing, and I love that it feels more like a creative marker than a traditional highlighter. I had a set for myself and my kids kept snagging them so I got three more packs and some cute coloring books and added them to their Easter baskets. They love the bright colors and and quality. A little pricier than markers but worth it.

The vibrant tones, while visually appealing, detract from readability, making them impractical for traditional note-taking.- Limited Subtle Shades:Despite the variety of 24 colors offered, there’s a noticeable lack of softer, pastel tones that work well for study materials or bullet journaling. This makes the product less versatile compared to competitors like Zebra Mildliners, which excel in providing muted options.- Chisel Tip Challenges:The single chisel tip design can be frustrating for users looking for precision. While it allows for broad strokes and thin lines, the darker pigmentation makes it harder to control the thickness of fine lines without adding visual noise to the page.

I'm writing this review from my parents' account haha. The Sharpie S notes were excellent. I've been in higher ed for over 10 years and one 24-ct pack has gotten me through 2 years of medicine residency, aka extensive textbook and notes highlighting (including studying for multiple board exams). The colors are beautiful and are only just now starting to dry out. They did not bleed through my thin textbook pages, did not smudge, and I like that they aren't bulky like many highlighters. Some of the colors are too dark to highlight, but most are great for it, and thin enough to underline. There is ALSO NO SMELL to them, so no headache. They are sturdy too -- my large dog stole one and chewed on it and only left a few tooth marks, still entirely useable. If only they could be refilled, they would be perfect.When you draw with them, the color has an almost watercolor-like lucency, very lovely.

So many choices!!

This is the first time I’ve used a marker like this, I’ve never owned mild liners. These markers are so amazing and there are so many different colors to choose from. The marker tip is chiseled which is nice, but you can also use it as a fine point, which is also nice. The best part about these markers is that they don’t smudge my pen ink. They also don’t bleed through paper. I also love that the cap is easily removable since I have arthritis and struggle taking caps off of pens. There are some nice options for highlighting text, including the classic highlighter yellow. The colors are vibrant and fun and so easy to use and write with. 10/10 purchase, will definitely be repurchasing in the future.
