Yes it’s flushable. And very easy to clean off your rake. Just don’t put too much in at once. Don’t worry about killing sea otters!! Sea otters are primarily getting toxoplasmosis from runoff water. Rain carries it, not sewage. In fact, the plastic bags most people use for throwing a away litter cause way more damage in the ocean. Micro plastics are eaten by fish and end up in OUR food supply.

Q: Why is there no "subscribe & save" option for this product? Kitty litter is something in need all of the time.

I don't think subscribe and save would do much to help since this product in this size is over priced to the extreme. I buy mine in the supermarket too.

Q: Is this litter scented?

Heather, it is NOT scented, which is why i prefer it. I can't take that perfumey overpowering cat litter scent. But, if your cat does not cover their pooh, and one of mine does not, then you will smell pooh instead of pooh AND perfumey overpowering scent. I keep the box fairly clean to keep three cats happy. I top the box off once a week. A large bag lasts me about two months for three cats, maybe longer.

Q: How big is this bag volume-wise? Trying to compare cost per litter change versus clay based products which are much heavier.

Cost is fantastic for the amount - I ordered 2 -28 pound bags in December and just reordered - have not opened the new bags yet. I LOVE this cat litter. FYI - I have two cats and two litter boxes.
