Works for what I bought it for
Edit: I raised my review from 4 to 5 stars. I've over time decided just to leave it on all the time because I got used to it. I just dumped an entire glass of water directly on my keyboard for the first time in my life, and the keyboard came out bone dry except a couple drops on the back plastic side that I was able to just wipe off with a towel. The Protector did its job well.I bought this cover because I can't replace the now-shredded cover that came with my keyboard since the keyboard doesn't appear to be sold anymore. I was unable to find one with fitted keys that worked with this keyboard, which still works perfectly well, so I needed something that would still work with it. I work from home and eat lunch at my desk often, so I keep it mostly covered when typing to prevent snack crumbs or spilled drinks from damaging my keyboard. This cover still allows me to type fine while it's on, but if I'm not eating/drinking, and I'm typing quite a lot, I'll be removing it, unlike my previous cover, because it's a little thicker, and my fingers fatigue faster with it on.I can still see the keys decently well through it when it's on, although it's definitely not clear, and better when I turn on the backlit keys. It's a good size and seems sturdy. It's a decent replacement that will keep the dust off when the keyboard is not in use and will give a good amount of protection if I'm working through lunches.

Everyone needs this
Keyboards with regular use get absolutely disgusting. I was tired of my spastic cat jumping up in my face and knocking my drinks over (he has feline hyperesthesia), I don't know how many times I had coffee, cocktails, sweet tea, soda, other liquids get fully dumped into the keyboard either because of the cat or because I myself am a klutz and spill regularly. I'd have to undo all the screws, take the keyboard apart and clean it and reassemble it. It's always full of everything - from pizza crumbs to tiny bits of weed that fell out of my pipe as I was packing it. No bueno.I bought this cover and as of right now it is absolutely filthy. I can totally see through it but it is covered in cat hair, dust, crumbs, dried coffee, dander, and who knows what else. It just sits right on top of the keys and is super flexible and soft. It does not hinder use of the keyboard in any way. I could not love this sheet of usefulness more. It is frigging awesome!! I lift it up and my keyboard is clean and perfect underneath it all. Hot diggity! What an item!! I am so impressed. I will never have a keyboard without one again.

Good product, but wasn't quite the solution I was looking for.
This works find if you need to cover your keyboard and don't really use the keys that much (or one-finger type). It works well on my laptop keyboard. On my normal keyboard it moved around on me while I am typing.

Does the job
So this is not fitted at all. It is literally just a flat piece of silicone. But it works, it keeps the cat hair off my keeboard. You can take it and rinse it off as well.

good coverage , easy to apply
really good protection! it took a little time to get used to it but I can't believe how much dust, crumbs spilled drinks etc. would have landed on the keyboard without the cover! Rinses easily and I just put it back onto the keyboard and continue working.

Don’t buy!
Wouldn’t adhere to a new Amazon keyboard; useless piece of junk.

good for flat keys, bad for mechanical
Just depends on what kind of keyboard you plan to use it with. If it's a flat membrane type KB, this is actually quite nice. If your keys are raised like mechanicals, the cover will just kind of sit raised up on top of the keys. The picture of the Razer KB they show in the description makes it look like it would work with mechanicals, but I wouldn't recommend it. And typing on top of a cover on keys with more play doesn't work so well.

Desk Hoteling: Portable Germ Barrier
New to desk hoteling, but knew I didn’t want to touch a shared keyboard (YUCK). I had bought a wireless keyboard and I liked it, but it added a ton of weight and bulk to my laptop backpack which was not ideal. I decided to try this and I have not turned back. It has a kind of universal fit, which helps when the keyboards are not the standard. I wash it with warm water and dish soap and pat it dry with paper towels at the end of each in-office day. I store it in the plastic (“stuck” to the card that came in the plastic) and it barely takes up any space. It “sticks” enough to the keyboard that it doesn’t shift when you are typing. It isn’t very think, but it really doesn’t need to be. If it tears, or I accidentally leave it and lose it, I WILL buy another. Heck, it is inexpensive enough I might buy a spare just in case!
