Best Gimbal Super Light and Smart Remote Control
The media could not be loaded. This is the best portable very light Gimbal ever, It has a lot of features to use even without downloading the software of HOHEM, but if you want the full package go for it!, and best of all, you can hold it n your pocket, It is Ultralight. Also and very important thing, when you Zoom out for example on iPhone around 0.5x it doesn't show the knob behind on the screen, like other do, and unfortunately, your video appears with something black on the right of the video, always happens when use the maximum zoom in (0.5x). But with this Gimbal (HOHEM) does not happen. Excellent Product, I recommend it. 051124-FD

Perfect starter Gimble who need $200 when just starting has it all! Remote & exstentionn!
It took me three days to figure out the features. But it is the best deal on Amazon! I already sent a video to my Best friend, who has begged me to send my gimble over when I am done with it for her son! She was super excited by it. It has a remote! It has an extension, it has the ability to lock in place or gimble away? You can turn it in three diffrent angles and I think there is a way to film a 180 degrees. It really is a steal! The remote is removable as well. I am excited to film more. I need to play around with it further. Battery life, so far I used it for about an hour and a half maybe almost two and ir wasn't even half drained. Pretty impressive. Mini cord was missing, so only down side.

First Gimbal Experience
The media could not be loaded. This is my first gimbal. I researched gimbals and this was a pretty decent one that had both pitch and roll axis. I could have gone with a three axis one, but from what I understood, for the purpose of my photography, which is basic tourist related photos and video, I didn’t need it. Plus, it would have been more expensive, and I’m an amateur photographer and didn’t want to invest in an expensive piece of equipment. I used this during a trip to Japan and worked decently. It was nice to reduce walking and shaking while holding my camera. It does have its own app to use to take photos, but it easily worked using my native phone camera just as fine. Because it works by balancing your phone, any additional attachments will make it very hard to balance. I purchased some really nice lenses to use while also using the gimbal and they ended up weighing it down where gimbal didn’t work properly: it kept trying to recalibrate to compensate for the weight. So in the end, I didn’t get the nice photos I wanted (my phone isn’t the greatest camera, but decent enough), but with the gimbal, I was able to take clear photos and at better angles with the telescopic selfie stick (I’m short). Another thing is that the battery drains very quickly. Luckily I had a power bank with me, but it was annoying that only after a couple hours, I had to charge it. It would be nice if there was a power save mode, because when I had an impromptu photo/video moment, I would have to turn on the gimbal, turn on the shutter button, calibrate it, and then select either landscape or portrait mode. Something else that would have been nice is the ability to keep the phone on the gimbal while folded away. That would have sped up the photo taking process. Oh well. It was a first gimbal and it worked fine. I’ll be using it again in the future, but more for stationary things or parties and weddings, etc. The attached video is just me testing it out, which I was impressed with how it smooth it was, while I was a trying to manually track myself.

Easy to pack. Very functional.
The item is just as described. It is a good size to where it is easy to pack and even comes with its own little travel bag. It could fit in a purse which is nice! The stand does everything described above and is pretty easy to figure out. It does come with a instruction manual that is simple to operate as well. I have now had it for about 2 months and I have never had to charge it so Idk that you even need too. Haha Overall happy with my purchase!

I like that it does so much
Love the features- even though it’s very complicated to get them going. Suggest keeping pdf of manual on phone- you’ll need it for some time. Also- desktop feature phone brackets do.not fit my phone - rather upset about that part- so no face tracking and all that here. The phone fits otherwise- but does drag at the base on a 360. Guess the 14 pro max is a little larger than allowed- but the description didn’t mention that when I ordered.. gonna try to work with it- as I wanted it for motion antishake- even though I have yet to get that feature enabled.. complex sequence for buttons- memory isn’t that great without guide. Wish it would have stipulated phone sizes beforehand so I knew the 14 pro max was too big

Rhymes with "Selfie" and same number of syllables
It's a piece of garbage. Don't waste your time. Even if it were calibrated out of the box, it takes way too long to set up between uses. Only one button functioned on the remote. Double clicks and triple clicks to issue different commands were simply not recognized, no matter how fast between clicks and adding delay between clicks. Maybe the facial recognition works well. I wouldn't know, since the unit lost its charge one our after being unplugged from the wall. Strongly recommend you ignite a pair of Jacksons and toss them out the car window while driving down the highway instead.

Hohem single axis gimble
This gimble is easy to set up. Instructions are very clear and easy to follow. Pairs easily with phone. There’s an app you can download that includes some preset automatic operations. This gimble also functions as a tripod although it’s not very steady with the weight of my phone. The tripod legs don’t lock or anything so you just have to balance it just right. The box says it includes a charging cable but there wasn’t one with mine. Takes a usb-c which I already had so that’s ok I guess. It also has a small removal remote that’s handy to have and operate the camera/gimble. It has tracking and rotation options but haven’t used those functions yet. The steadiness of the gimble is just ok, nothing fantastic but decent for the price point. Think I would opt for the 3 axis gimble next time.
