Touchy, but works well when setup properly.
Read the manuals. Align the paper-width guides carefully, make sure they are parallel. Take a piece of paper and mark the top of one side of the page. Put it through and see where the folds end up with a ruler and think about how you will need to the load the paper (head up/down, face up/down). Make adjustments, then run another paper. Repeat again, and again, until you are satisfied. You will sacrifice several pages of paper until it is right. The machine is unforgiving, if the paper snags or jams, or the rails and stops are out of alignment, it will mangle the paper. You need to adjust it carefully. This is a commercial product that requires a level of precision to operate properly. Different types of paper will behave differently.

Find a machine that manages the papers better as they exit.
The media could not be loaded. Initially the unit worked fine, but it started acting up soon after. The stacker is as worthless as it looks. Papers will flip over to the wrong side. Papers will fall sideways and will land on the floor. It's basically impossible to get the papers out in the same order as they enter. The papers will stall out on exiting the machine and the next paper will cross over the previous. Sometimes a paper will end up inside of another one. Some papers will end up on the floor and you won't know where in the stack they belong. It's a mess.I tried contacting the company to get a different machine, but they refused. This machine doesn't work. They know it, but they sell it anyway.

had to buy screws
It came with screws that didn't hold, they wouldn't thread. I had to go to Home Depot and buy 5/8 in. machine screws, flat head Phillips, stainless. The holder doesn't hold 50 letters without falling all over the place.

OMG I can't live without it.
I accidentally started a print shop and my first customer ordered almost 30,000 brochures. Folding these by hand would have been impossible. This piece of equipment is worth every penny. The only thing missing from it is a page counter. I ordered a proximity counter and installed with velcro. Now it is perfect!

Great but has annoying squeak
I purchased the mid-priced Martin Yale P7500 Paper Folding Machine to help with an increase in outgoing "snail mail" and producing new tri-fold brochures for my business. I was amazed at the speed and accuracy of the machine. Instructions included are limited, so I missed the operation for a single document, which it turns out that I use a lot. The folder has greatly improved our time spent on the documents that it is used for. The machine would actually have a 5+ Star rating if it weren't for an extremely annoying squeal that is made by the roller wheel when the last document in the job is finished. I spoke with the distributor, who explained the source of the squeal, which was understandable but didn't make it less annoying. The squeal is a minor issue considering the time saving benefit of the Martin Yale P7500 Paper Folding Machine

Does the job
Easy to set up and operate. I’m satisfied with it since it’s the cheapest of options that can do 50 sheets per feeding. Only slight drawbacks are the paper tray doesn’t stack very neatly when the come out folded, and it’s a bit noisy.

Works great! Economical.
I purchased this for my wife's in-home business. Several times each year she sends out a few thousand mailings. This machine paid for itself very quickly. It's easy to set up and easy to use.
