SUPER EASY TO USE
Great product and easy to use especially with the app and your phone to read the strips after use to give you the readings, ideal for beginners. Will buy again and very happy with the number in pack.

Good value, and pretty accurate.
I want to start this review saying one thing - many people criticise the strip based test kits as being inaccurate and say water test kits should always be used.I have a very well established fish tank that's huge, and these test kits amply give enough accuracy for general day to day water checking. You're never going to have the accuracy of a water test kit from these, and I would recommend anyone who is cycling a new tank or has problems with a current one to look at the more expensive water test kits.HOWEVER, as I said before, general day to day checking with these straps gives enough accuracy to test the water if you're doing it say weekly, just to check the water is ticking over nice and fish safely. They are good value and a good way to keep an eye on levels such as nitrate (which is scarily high in tap water, plants that eat nitrates are important if you're not using special water such as reverse osmosis), pH, water hardness etc.Just to add a last thing, different varieties of fish like drastically different water conditions, though with UK treated tap water I found the water here (Dorset) is perfect for pleco, mollies, fan tailed guppies, angelfish, corydoras and tetra. Always make sure your water is in the right parameters and at the right temperature and you'll be amazed how long your fish will live! Our pleco fish are only a year old, approx 14 to go!

Ideal for at a glance Aquarium Water Testing
Great little product, simply dip in your aquarium and within minutes you can get a rough idea of how good, or poor your water quality is. Will need a separate test for NH³ Ammonia though.Tests for PH, GH, KH, NO², NO³ and Cl levels. Easy to hold strips up to colour chart on the packaging to get an at a glance idea of your Aquarium parameters. There is a downloadable app to assist in reading your test results which has the potential to be more accurate, however it is strictly dependent on your phone camera and ambient lighting quality. Can give mixed readings so dont rely too heavily on it. It is great for keeping record of past results though and you can edit the readings manually to keep a 'diary' as it were.Oddly the app gives me mixed readings for CO² levels which I dont think is actually tested for on the strip lol.Overall a pretty handy piece of equipment to have for responsible fish keeping 👍👍

Great for new fish owners and very helpful when using together with the app.
We are relatively new to having an aquarium with temperate fish and having not managed a tank before we invested in these to give us a bit of a guide. We use one every couple of weeks now the tank has cycled to keep a check on the levels. Sometimes results with things like this can be down to judgement when you’re comparing against the guide indicator but we love using these in conjunction with the app. Once you have followed the instructions on taking the test you simply take a picture of the strip with the app, calibrate where the strip is and it reads it for you and gives advice on how you might adjust the tank to solve an high readings (for example adding more real plants or having a partial water change). As beginners we have definitely found these pointers useful and 8 months on we have had no casualties.

Useful strips but no ammonia test included.
Firstly it was my own fault but I misread the listing and thought that Ammonia was included in the tests. It is not so probably the most important parameter when setting up an aquarium is missing from this kit. Secondly, you should check your local supplier because when I went in to buy some ammonia test strips, I found these strips at only £5! Again, this is entirely my fault and I should have checked the retail price locally before ordering but I am a sucker for a crossed out price and I genuinely believed the normal price to be £12.99!Third, probably the 2 most important tests on these strips for an amateur aquarist are nitrite and nitrate. I personally found the nitrite test rather difficult to read as the difference between negative and 1ppm is tiny in terms of pink colour. The nitrate test is easy to read. I had my pH tested properly by a meter and the result (7.2) agrees perfectly with the strip result. The chlorine test is very useful since it allows you to make sure that when you treat water ready for water changes, you have successfully neutralised all the chlorine in it! All in all the strips are useful enough to me for me to keep them, but I will probably not buy them again.

quick delivery super easy to use
newbie fish keepersuper easy to use , product arrived fast, all the must to check parameters in 1 test, no mess test, 1 minute results. one drawback - quite expensive as had to test the water daily and ran out of the tube in 2 weeksvery good to keep on for weekly tests and not as messy and time consuming as test kits - despite the results are not as accurate it is enough for my case as don't have sensitive fish or plants.
