Full of lots of information about the nutritional value of each smoothie.
Really like the layout , from green ,diabetes, beauty, gut health, weight loss and kids smoothie.. There a smoothie for every health benefit. No pictures, but the interesting read more than made up for the lack of visuals. A great book at a great price. Highly recommended.

Tasty and easy to make recipes
I like the way this smoothie book tackles 12 different theme's including Diabetic Smoothies, Antioxidant Smoothies and High Energy Smoothies. The recipes I have tried have all been tasty and simple to make, I love the Cranberry Lemonade one. Some of the recipe's are outrageous (Popeye Smoothie anyone) but I guess I'll work my way up to them. Lots of ideas and tips for each theme so there should be a few recipes in each category to suit everyone. Great for beginners and people wanting to take smoothie making to the next level.

Would Recommend - 4/5
PROS:-Vast amount of recipes-Most smoothies I've tried have been more than decent-Pretty good value for money; buying 150 recipes for ~£5 is easier than using the same recipe day in day out or coming up with a new smoothie each day.-Even has protein shake recipes (very useful to me)CONS:-Quantities have been too big for me, making 1 litre of smoothie is just not necessary for me. But that's easy to control by just halving or quartering the ingredients.-Makes a lot of health claims, I'm slightly dubious to some of them.CONCLUSION:The cons are basically me just complaining about very minor niggles. If you make a lot of smoothies and keep getting struck for ideas, then this is an ideal book for you (even though you could probably get more recipes off the internet, it's just easier to flip a book out in the morning).

This is definitely a book made by an American
Overall this is not a bad book. It has some great recipes and breaks them down into sections really well, but that's where the god stuff ends.Completely unknown to me, the book has been written by an American, so for us Brits the book can be quite confusing, as some of the ingredients are either completely alien or go by another name that I've definitely never heard of!Also all of the measurements are Americanised, everything is done in cups. So some mental conversions will have to be done into something you're used to using. Oh and don't be afraid to adapt the recipes given, as sometimes the amounts of specific ingredients used can be way over the top (such as a whole garlic clove for not even a litre of smoothie!).Plus on a minor note, the book inside is really dull, not a single picture or even a dot of colour (unlike the cover). So yeah great for most of the recipes, not all, but will need a bit of extra time to try and decipher the measurements and ingredients for us Brits.

It’s ok..but…
This is ok but aimed at the American market. Too many recipes with listings ingredients not easily obtained in Uk.

Brilliant Recipes.
This book has been great for our entire family who all try to be healthy. The book is broken into catogaries which is useful if you need something more specific or you want to see how well it works. I also found it to be very detailed as it explains what that smoothie does and why etc. As for the recipes, they taste great and combine some ingredients I wouldn't expect, but they work well and go down well with all of my family. I definitely recommend this book.Arrived quickly with no damage.
