These are excellent
As an electrician I go through a fair amount of cable cutters / snips etc. These are excellent. They cut at 1.5mm or 2.5mm perfectly with cut in grooves on the blade for easy placement, and whilst the cable cutting action is good, the actually snipping action for basic insulation is perfect. I really enjoy using these and would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of buying top quality cable snippers

Very Good Quality
These CK combination wire cutters are excellent quality and extremely sharp. They were a little stiff when they arrived but a small drop of oil on the hinge soon loosened them up and they now operate perfectly.Fit nicely in the hand and offer very good protection as would be expected from C.K.The wire stripping grooves worked surprisingly well as did the wire bending anvil. These are quality wire cutters that I expect and hope will serve me well for many years.

Best snips
Brilliant pair of snips. I was cautious about the wire stripping holes not allowing me to cut cables off the reel in 1 go but it's perfect size. 2.5 TE is fine with room to spare on the blades... 3 core is the maximum these can handle imo which is fine for most installers.Stripping holes are very sharp. Do not squeeze tight as it will score the copper. when using the 2 copper stripping holes, also dont drag the snips along the copper to slide off the brown or blue sheath you have just strippedTerminating anvil is the main reason I purchased these snips, because previously 2.5 has always been a hassle to get completely folded over and flush for me.... these do a perfect job once you practice a bit....

Good enough, not great though
Easy to use, comfortable. Carry only this and a screwdriver up a ladder and you'll be happy.Limited uses, realistically 1.5 and 2.5 t&e only. For anything else the stripers and crimpers are not the right size to work efficiently. Cutter is 0.5mm too short to cut 2.5 t&e cable in one go.I do not expect the same service life as some other tools made from superior steel.Could benefit from a sharper outside jaw profile to allow better use as a reamer for removing sharp edges in holes in steel backing boxes.

Very powerful tool
These are probably the best cable cutters you will ever buy. Expensive but worth it. Very powerful cutting action so you have to be careful if using them to strip insulation as it is easy to misalign and cut the cable instead. I am not convinced by the wire bending notch as I still had to use pliers to finish the bend and squash it flat, so I stuck to that method instead.

Great pair of Cutters!
Have been using them over the last month. Best cutters I have owned easily.Nice neat cut on cable ties, cut easily through 4mm cables (largest I have used) + 4 core 0.75 flex, leaving a nice neat cut. Never been one for the stripping notches, but have found them very handy and may have been converted. Nice neat line around single 1.5/2.5 mm cables with no marks to the copper itself. The two screw shears also very handy, as they leave a neat cut and screw straight in.Highly recommend them.

Can’t go wrong with CK
3.5mm built in sheers are great. Will never buy another set without it.

Better than the Knippex equivalent
Have lasted me 3 years and are a lot nicer to use than knippex equivalents. I've always thought the knippex ones were too bulky and don't seem to be as easy or nice to use, so after using a pair of these I had to buy my own pair. The 1.5mm² and 2.5mm² stripping holes also come in very handy, as do the 3.5mm and 4.0mm screw cutting holes.
